Savoy City Hotel

The location is quite good, however the staff was rude, the rooms were dirty and had cockroaches. Also the door handle was broken and wouldn't lock.

For the first time in my life, I argued with a hotel receptionist. The Turkish national team had a World Cup match at 7 am. The match coincided with breakfast time. Since the terrible TV in the room wasn't working, I asked if we could watch the match on the restaurant's TV. I was told that other customers would be disturbed. Even though I explained that it was our national match, that we cared deeply about it, and that we would watch it quietly without disturbing anyone, I couldn't convince them. They are so overly nationalistic and malicious that they think the Greek customers at breakfast would be disturbed by the Turkish national match. When the argument escalated, I said I would write a negative review on Google. I received a response like, "Write whatever you want." It was a disappointment for me! Besides, the hotel is very dirty and smells awful. Everything is very old. My rating is 0 out of 10!! I would not recommend it to anyone traveling from Turkey!!

Fresh, good service, moderate prices.

The location is good, central, but it's not worth staying in even for a day. I've stayed in all the Greek islands and I've never seen such a dirty hotel. The towels and sheets are stained, only one lamp is working in the room, and there's no heater to make coffee. It's the worst island hotel I've ever seen; I would never recommend it. There are no light bulbs in the chandeliers.

Excellent value for money, great location, very good breakfast, but the rooms are a little small.

This is a city hotel with a good location for a couple of nights. The staff is just great! Friendly, always helpful with any questions. There is a woman at the reception who speaks Russian. The hotel has a good location - close to the old town, port, bus station. I liked the breakfasts - delicious and varied. The hotel is not new, but clean. There are cosmetics in the bathroom, free clean towels, a refrigerator, a TV. I booked a room with a balcony (it is a little more expensive, but you can dry your swimsuit and beach towel). Personally, I didn't like it - there is no kettle in the room, the sound insulation of the walls is poor (at night I heard a woman coughing in the next room all night, also at night on the next street teenagers were screaming a lot and you could hear live music from the restaurant until 03:00 in the morning. The hotel does not have its own parking lot, you need to park your car somewhere in the port.

We booked this through Feribotlines' package tour, but they finalized the hotel at the last minute. The location is perfect, right in the center. The breakfast was good and didn't leave us hungry. However, the hotel and rooms are so old; I wish they would renovate them. The furniture is very old, the bed creaks, the insulation is poor, and we can hear noises from the corridor and other rooms. The corridor light was left on at night, and the room was always bright because of the light coming under the door. There's no shower curtain. Our room overlooked the open space in the middle of the building, and we could hear people talking loudly on the phone in their rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. If they don't renovate the rooms, you might regret it, just so you know.
