Hotel Kvosin Downtown

While there was a number of construction projects going on during our stay, which started earlier than I would have liked, the rooms were very nice though the lights took a minute to figure out. The thing that made this place great was the staff. The blonde Romanian lady at the desk, who's name escapes me, was always cheerful and helpful with whatever we needed. With staff like that the construction wasn't even all so bad.

Really clean charming place in convenient downtown location. Few nice touches like coffee in room and tile bathrooms.

Great rooms with super (I mean it) comfy beds and pillows. And I should add amazing breakfast even for 2 Turkish :)

The location is central and the front desk staff were genuinely friendly which is the only reason this is not a one star stay However there are several issues that made the experience disappointing The church bells nearby ring every 20 to 30 minutes which can be disturbing especially at night and early morning The junior suite does not include a fridge which is inconvenient for a hotel in this price range Soundproofing is poor and noise from the hallway and outside can be easily heard inside the room There is also no parking available which makes logistics more difficult if you are driving Overall the stay feels uncomfortable despite the good service at reception and the convenient location making it a two star experience

Lovely stay! We had a beautiful space with access to balconies and we loved the views of the city. We were able to park the car in a lot close by and we walked all over town.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff was wonderful. The rooms were clean, nicely done and comfortable. The balcony was a great touch. We highly recommended Kvosin.

Great hotel. Very nice with spacious rooms and they were impeccably clean. The views were great from the large deck. The front desk team provided truly exceptional, personalized service that stood out among all the hotels we visited this week. The morning breakfasts were very nice bonus. FYI the evening bar area was not open during our stay but they had beer and wine available.

Stayed with a family of 4 and couldn’t ask for more. Arrived tired from our flight and greeted with really welcoming and helpful front of house staff. Beautiful hotel in a great location topped off with great staff. Room was spacious and had everything you need. Would definitely recommend.

There are many choices for a hotel stay in Reykjavík. We are so grateful to have chosen the Kvosin Hotel. Our room was spotless, spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. We chose the “bigger room” category and found the kitchenette a welcome surprise. Fantastic location for accessing attractions and food in town and also for transportation options. “Bus stop 1” is just a few steps away and serves as a pickup location for most tours as well as easy airport transportation via Flybus. However, the absolute best part about our stay here was the staff. Alena, Martin, Ana Maria, and their coworkers were just delightful. Not once were we made to feel like a request was bothersome. They genuinely cared that we had the best experience possible in their country. Iceland is a land of incredible beauty, but it is the way people treated us that will keep us coming back and we will not consider staying anywhere else but with our friends at the Kvosin.
