Hotel Canton dell Orto

An excellent location for a peaceful rest in the shadow of the domes of the Basilica del Santo. The small property is a completely renovated period building, easy to reach thanks in part to the kindness of the management, who contacted me the day before my arrival to provide check-in and hotel directions. The room for two was comfortable and spacious, with cozy beds that ensured a good night's sleep. I loved the freedom of access to the property, as if it were my own home... The only inconvenience is that breakfast is not served, although it is available about a 5-minute walk from the hotel. In any case, Canton dell'Orto is highly recommended.

Excellent hotel located near the Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua, ideal for a quiet stay close to walks and historical monuments. Luxurious rooms; they put us in a better room than we booked and at a better price than advertised. Very clean and the staff were friendly. I recommend it. A very good place. It's not near Padua Centrale station, but it's easily accessible by tram, which runs frequently.

Strategic location for visiting the historic center. Very close to the Basilica del Santo and the Botanical Gardens. Complimentary water in the small refrigerator. A thermos for hot drinks is available with a small supply of coffee and tea. Top-notch cleanliness.

We booked a Superior Double room. The room was spacious and well located close to the garden, but we had an awful night. The "Superior" room was ground floor next to the street with a broken curtain (that allowed the street light in) and rock hard bed. So we had the noisy, illuminated and umconfortable night. Also there is nowhere to put and no soap in the shower. To top it of there is no receptionist in this hotel. You have to walk 500m to another hotel to check-in and -out

The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes from both the Basilica of the Saint and Prato della Valle. The room is welcoming, clean, and functional. The only drawback: the reception for check-in and check-out is in another hotel, just a few minutes' walk away. If it's pouring with rain, you're carrying suitcases, and you're in a bit of a hurry, it's not very convenient. Breakfast isn't included, but there are some excellent pastry shops nearby.

Don't call it a hotel; they're rented rooms, clean and tidy, fine from that perspective. Absolutely not suitable for business travelers. I arrived at 8 PM dressed for work with a suitcase and laptop backpack and had to go to another hotel to get the keys.... no parking because it's in a restricted traffic zone (I probably even got a fine because the GPS takes you directly there without warning...). Breakfast, if you pay for it, you have to go back to the other hotel... It's fine for vacations, perhaps, but not for business. What a nice thing after all this fuss: I left and you're right in the center on foot and near the Basilica of Saint Anthony, may God protect us.
