My stay at La Casella was perfect and unforgettable. I was warmly welcomed by friendly hosts, I was relaxed in the peace and quiet of the Umbrian nature, I was in awe of the graciousness of the horses, and I particularly enjoyed having lunch and dinner together with everyone else while we were served outstanding Italian cuisine. I strongly recommend a week-long stay at La Casella for anyone looking to experience the Umbrian countryside at its best.

Wonderful weekend! The atmosphere is rural yet meticulously maintained, perfect for a break from the daily grind. The food was truly excellent and authentic. The icing on the cake: the fantastic company made everything even more special. It's a wonderful place, we already can't wait to return!

La Casella is the ideal destination for anyone seeking a true escape to nature and relaxation. Staying here, completely immersed in nature, is a priceless experience. The rooms are spacious, bright, and clean, with a refined rustic style that perfectly complements the agriturismo's atmosphere. But the real added value is the human touch: the staff is incredibly friendly and hospitable, making you feel at home from the first moment. You can clearly sense the care, commitment, and passion behind every activity. The cuisine deserves special mention; the meals are delicious, and the convivial atmosphere allows you to enjoy the evening in great company, even with other guests. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to be in contact with animals (there are horses for wonderful rides!) or to anyone who wants to escape the chaos of the city and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation. I will definitely be back!

A beautiful place, completely surrounded by greenery, ideal for those who want to enjoy nature and relaxation, where you can turn off your phone (there's no point in having it on, as there's no signal in this area) and enjoy the tranquility and silence of these places. Staying with them is like being at home; you immediately feel the family and welcoming atmosphere. We had dinner there two evenings, and the food was very good. The only major flaw is the very bumpy road. It takes a long time to get there because you have to go very slowly because of the road.

Do not come here if you are a tourist! My gf & I decided to come here was very disappointed. First off the directions in Google Maps, Safari and Apple Maps are ALL WRONG directions to get to this place. They tell you this when they get then give you also WRONG DIRECTIONS that take you up the mountains. We had a local tell us where to go which is how we needed up running into it. Secondly, the place is not like the pictures. Though the point of this hotel is that it’s in the country side and it is beautiful in that aspect, it is very outdated to what the pictures see. No pool no fancy kept up rooms, services, or landscaping. It is also a HASSLE to drive up there. There are massive potholes & the drive up consists of big uneven stones you have to carefully drive slow up to risk not getting a flat tire. There is no internet, WiFi connection so if u lose connection on gps you could get lost. Lastly we got in after a long day with a 10 flight with jet lag so we told them to contact us via WhatsApp when dinner was ready which is what they use. They got our messages and didn’t message us and we even told them if u see or don’t see the messages due to YOUR bad internet, to come knock on the door and we will have no problem with that. No response & then told us that they had made our food but we didn’t show up. They scammed us out of 50 euro which originally they said it was 80 euro but they “felt bad” about the situation. They don’t know how to host for other people and quite frankly they are dooming everyone who gets a hotel stay out here that isn’t a local.Do not come here if you are a tourist! The property's location is beautiful, as are the small apartments scattered around the main building. The biggest problem is the state of neglect and the lack of maintenance, especially of the roads, even the internal ones connecting the farmhouses and the restaurant. Our apartment was nice but dated, poorly maintained, and I wouldn't say clean. There was a lot of sloppiness, especially in the kitchenette and bathroom. For the prices asked, there are many properties that offer much more. With what you pay at La Casella, they should really be impeccable. Everything is a bit neglected and poorly maintained, the organization and the staff are kind but a bit improvised. Many beautiful descriptions on their website—forest baths, yoga, philosophy, nature—but in reality, there are so many flaws. Some things, like the spa, are very neglected and abandoned. Breakfast was good, but speaking of philosophy, we would have expected more homemade and genuine natural products. Ideal for dinners, which were good but not typical Umbrian. The cuisine was well-presented and elaborate, but "budget-friendly." The place is somewhere between abandoned and neglected. They're very kind and make you feel at home, but they're also very expensive for what they offer. For the price you pay, you can find truly amazing properties where the harmony with nature and the services offered are a dream. Everything here is a bit improvised; many of the descriptions are beautiful on the website, but in reality, they're all done without experience, attention, and care. Even walking along the paths around the abandoned structures, there's little care for the land. For what they offer, they should more than halve the prices... nothing has been done with true professionalism... everything needs to be redone and reorganized, not just the roads and apartments.

This place was fantastic. I booked this through my timeshare and honestly cannot say enough great things. The owner and her family and staffwere so warm and helpful, they made you feel like you were a part of the family. Virginia is a great host, she offered many excellent recommendations to visit and eat in the area, and even packed us breakfast to go on a day we planned to take the train to Florence. The property is beautiful and so quiet, just what we needed to relax. If you love cats you'll be pleased, they have lots of friendly outdoor kitties. I would definitely recommend the market/pasta making excursion. Make sure you rent a durable vehicle, the roads are a little rough, but only added to the experience. The rooms were a good size and very clean with plenty of living space. The food was PHENOMENAL. Sit down, family style, home cooked meals every evening. Close to a train station and ideally situated for day trips.

A unique and indescribable experience! I treated my partner to a lunch in the woods experience with a horseback ride. The atmosphere, the tranquility, and the delicious food were the key elements of a perfect day I'll never stop talking about. I hope to return soon to enjoy the serenity this place leaves in the hearts of those fortunate enough to experience it.

La Casella is one of those places that seem to belong to a time suspended. Even in the quiet of the low season, it retains a rare charm, made of silence, soft light, and kind gestures. The hospitality warms without being overwhelming, imparting a feeling of profound peace. The cuisine, with its ancient and sincere flavors, speaks of the land with natural simplicity. It's the kind of place where you leave feeling lighter, feeling like you've rediscovered something of yourself.

Wonderful place to visit! Definitely off the main roads but quite relaxing and peaceful. Very kind staff as well who were all very happy and polite. Definitely enjoyed my stay.
