Best place to stay, nice friendly staffs and very clean

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and were really pleased. First of all, the staff were very attentive, thank you. Also, since we went on my birthday, it was a very nice gesture that they wished me a happy birthday and gave me a complimentary drink at the bar when we checked in, thank you for that as well. The location was excellent, it was a 15-20 minute walk from the Colosseum. Also, there was a supermarket right across the street, so we could easily do our shopping and the prices were very reasonable. You can book here without hesitation when you come to Rome.

Excellent accommodation option, just two blocks from the metro station, quiet, and safe. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful; they spoke both Spanish and English, making communication easy. Highly recommended! I would definitely stay there again!

The rooms are amazing, each "nest" is very spacious, as are the drawers for storing backpacks. Some nights there's free dinner! The people are wonderful, I'll definitely be back!! Priscila is the best of all

Manager Paolo and the entire young, warm team welcome guests as if they were at home. Always available to respond to any situation. Strategic location due to its proximity to Piazza San Giovanni and the Church of the Holy Cross of Jerusalem. Great Location It's a true vacation home. The breakfast area is always staffed and there's a large terrace for parties and for those who prefer the silence of meditation...like me. That's also guaranteed. Thank you for everything. The place was central and well connected, the rooms weren't amazing but it was fine for a stopover, but I was very annoyed because I left €15 worth of food in the fridge for the last day and my trip and it was thrown away or someone took it.

It makes no sense that there are only two power outlets in a 4-person room... Hostel Chicon is expensive, and the bills really do go down the drain for that price. If you get stuck on a night when they have a party, you won't be able to sleep. Good luck lol. I just gritted my teeth and stayed because of the free check-in and luggage storage, and the location.

Amazing hostel, very friendly staff. The privacy in the rooms is excellent, the location is great, and the storage area is very spacious and lockable, which they provide. I highly recommend it!

Overall, it wasn't a great experience; the atmosphere was disorganized and the service left much to be desired.

I have to say the staff is a 9/10. They are super friendly and always available to help, although I must say that my roommates and I had to mention a few issues in the bathroom more than once, some of which were easily fixable. Also, the bathroom, although recently renovated like the hostel, had a significant buildup of limescale in the shower, and I'm not sure if it was cleaned daily, as the toilet and bidet weren't always clean, though perhaps that was due to use by other guests in the room. I appreciated the cubicles for the beds, which provided more privacy and could be closed (although it can get quite hot inside), and the large lockers for storing belongings. The laundry service was also a plus, although I gave them my clothes in the morning and they weren't returned until late at night. Even so, the staff makes an effort to ensure guests are comfortable and they make pasta every day in different varieties. It's a shame I couldn't try it due to dietary restrictions. On the other hand, the location is great, very close to the train and the city center, which is within walking distance. Despite some areas for improvement, I would still recommend the hostel.
