The food her was pretty mid, nothing exciting and no dish stood out. Service was normally ok but as a black woman I did not feel respected by the restaurant servers. The bartenders on the other hand are first class! The restaurant has an amazing view though so I would recommend if you want an experience but the food is not great.

The place is wonderful, peaceful, and close to the water. The service is good, and the food is tasty. They even made a special tiramisu (not on the menu) for my girlfriend who has an allergy. It's a bit pricey (320) for the dishes offered, but I'd say you're paying for the experience and the magnificent view.

It was our first brunch since arriving in city and I highly recommend it if you want to fall in love with Venice right from the start. The view is gorgeous and we really enjoyed the food and service.

I had the pleasure of dining at Gio's Restaurant, inside The St. Regis Venice, a few years ago, and I have wonderful memories of it. We had reserved a table on the outdoor deck, directly overlooking the Lagoon and the Grand Canal: an incredibly romantic atmosphere, hard to describe in words. I recommend booking in advance, especially if you want an outdoor table with a view. During our most recent visit, I had mentioned in the reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary, and they were kind enough to surprise us with a small additional dessert decorated with the words "Happy Anniversary." It's those little details that make you feel truly pampered and, in my opinion, make all the difference. The experience is captivating, even in the smallest details. From the plates to the Murano glass glasses, crafted by local artisans, everything speaks of Venetian elegance and tradition. The cuisine is refined, carefully crafted, and truly excellent, but what makes this experience unique is the combination of all these elements: the view, the impeccable service, and the attention given to guests. We returned recently and found the same quality. The service remained up to expectations, attentive and professional, and the experience is enriched by small details like the welcome amuse-bouche and pre-dessert, which make the meal even more special. It's true, the bill isn't cheap, but you're not just paying for the food. You're paying for the complete experience: top-notch cuisine, excellent service, and one of the most spectacular views in Venice, directly overlooking the Grand Canal. For those who want to experience the magic of this place at a fraction of the cost, I also recommend the bar at The St. Regis Venice, located next to the restaurant. It offers the same wonderful view and elegant atmosphere, with a more casual but equally enjoyable menu. An experience I recommend at least once in my life.

Incredible staff, delicious food, an unforgettable dining experience. Gratitude to everyone for looking after us on my birthday, and for accommodating my dietary restrictions. On a humid evening, we were able to move to an inside table as well, which we were so grateful for. Every detail is organised before you think of it. We highly recommend Gio’s for a special occasion.

Gio’s is a wonderful restaurant at The St. Regis Venice, set inside a beautifully renovated hotel in a fantastic location. What stood out immediately was the staff. They are genuinely flexible, attentive and truly customer-oriented, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the beef and the paccheri with lobster, both were excellent. The cocktail and wine selection is also impressive, with plenty of choices for every taste. Overall, we had a wonderful evening and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I would happily return and highly recommend Gio’s to anyone visiting Venice.
