Kelmonderhof, which markets itself as Gaysauna Maastricht, is the only gay sauna serving the Maastricht area. It is in a converted farmhouse in Beek, about 10 km north of the city near Maastricht-Aachen airport. Listed facilities include Finnish and steam saunas, indoor and outdoor pools, a bar, a garden and rest cabins. It presents itself as a wellness sauna rather than a sex club. It has a schedule of men-only and mixed days, and some weekdays are closed, so check the website before you go. Public transport is poor out here, so plan on a car or taxi; there is parking on site.

The sauna is outdated; it's high time for a bit of modernization. They should get the hammam working like it used to, and add a jacuzzi! It used to be a friendly and welcoming place, but now it's become lifeless, joyless, and soulless. It's full of older men, and the owner is increasingly rigid and grumpy. What a shame.

We are very satisfied with this sauna. There is plenty for us to do, the staff is friendly, and the food is good. No hot tub, but I understand that; I wouldn't want to know what floats in there. 3 massage tables, swimming pool, 2 saunas.
