We visited on a Saturday and had a meal in the restaurant. It wasn’t too busy and the service was quick and efficient. We had the venison, sea bass and pesto pasta. All were delicious. There was so much pasta, I could only eat half of it. Two of our group had the sticky toffee pudding, made with molasses. It was delicious. We then had teas and coffee, two glasses of wine and a Diet Coke. Came to around £110. But pricey but it was a special occasion and the food was great. Would definitely go back, but would try the bar menu fur variety.

Attended for Saturday Spritz for an hen do. Our server was lovely and very accommodating in helping us with any questions. The room was decorated lovely for the event. Atmosphere was spot on, Prosecco and food went down a treat! Would definitely recommend and return again

We went for a quick Sunday bar lunch and the food was amazing - such beautifully cooked beef! The creamy mash, haggis fritter and rich, smooth gravy topped it off beautifully. I don't usually like or eat veg but the honey glazed carrots were an exception. It was the best food we have tasted in a long time (we had Steak & Ale pie with chips and Shin of Beef with mash). The serving team were lovely, welcoming and friendly too!

Our visit was only to the restaurant for the first time since it was refurbished and we were very pleased with the ambiance, the service by the staff, the quality and presentation of the food. Whilst we (5 of us) were all satisfied with the menu options I would have liked to see a traditional soup.

Great food in great setting. Friendly staff with onsite parking which can be full as so busy. Well worth a visit especially for Sunday Carvery
