Perfect place, safe and with good music

I've been going to Arena Madre for years, and I've never seen the level of deterioration and lack of control that's evident now. The most worrying thing isn't just the increasingly obvious presence of people using drugs inside and around the establishment, but the feeling of absolute permissiveness towards this behavior. The preferential treatment certain people receive compared to other customers is particularly striking. While some patrons are subject to rules and controls, others seem to enjoy incomprehensible privileges and a tolerance that creates a clear sense of inequality. The impression conveyed is that certain interests outweigh respect for the rules and for customers who behave appropriately. An establishment that allows these situations to become normalized ends up losing its credibility, its safety, and, above all, the respect of those who have helped maintain it for years. What was once a landmark now conveys a worrying sense of decline, favoritism, and lack of control. A real disappointment for those of us who remember much better times.

Good for dancing...

I've been going to Arena for many years and have always considered it a top spot for going out in Barcelona, ​​but what happened yesterday left me quite disappointed. While I was using the urinal in the restroom, a cleaning lady started to rudely kick me and another person out, even hitting us with the broom and repeatedly telling us to leave because she had to clean. This all happened around 2 a.m., when the club was still operating normally and it wasn't even closing time. The situation was very uncomfortable and completely out of line. Afterwards, I spoke with one of the managers upstairs to report what happened, and honestly, I was left with a feeling of absolute indifference, as if the situation weren't important at all. I completely understand that the facilities need to be cleaned and maintained, but I think there are ways and ways of treating customers, especially in a place where many of us have been coming for years and spending a considerable amount of money. I would like Marcos to review these kinds of situations and address them, because experiences like this make one seriously consider not returning. It's a shame, because I've always been fond of this place.

After a while, my previous opinion, based on my experience with the security guards at the establishment, had been quite negative. I have to say that over time, the management and staff have treated me exceptionally well, completely redeeming the experience I had. They've made the place safer and more pleasant to be in, and the apologies they offered were quite necessary to erase the harrowing moment I experienced. I'm going to give the phrase to Oscar, who always makes me feel welcome, and to the security guards who apologized at the time, even though they weren't at fault. Those kinds of gestures are truly appreciated!

It bores me to death. There are two rooms: one is called "Madre" (Mother) and the other is "Clásica" (Classic) with pop music. I thought there was some pop-techno music.

This was a crazy experience… and unfortunately not in a good term. i put my clothes in the wardrobe and the paid 6 euros for each of my item which the guy inside put it in one hanger (3 pieces). When i tried to get it out the same guy literally lied and and faked that i miss one ticket. (There is no way it was missing because it was in the one packet) … and he used physical strength to pull out my stuff … my own stuff from my hand. He called the security guy who actually came to my help. And said leave if I already have everything. It seemed to be not a one off thing.. im pretty sure it happened before with other people. This is really crazy that is happened with me and barely can understand and process it. And Im writing right after this incident. Be careful… and think about this place agian if you go there.
