Parador de Las Cañadas del Teide

I made the restaurant reservation through the website, but they called me to confirm it. Since I couldn't answer the call at that moment, they canceled the reservation without offering an alternative, forcing me to go through the entire booking process again from scratch. As for the restaurant itself, the service was very slow. It took us over 45 minutes to receive our second course. Furthermore, the amberjack that two of us ordered arrived cold, dry, and spoiled, clearly not fresh. A very disappointing experience, both in terms of the reservation process and the quality of the service and the food.

We had lunch here; it's a functional place but nothing really special.

We had lunch at the restaurant with wonderful views of Mount Teide. The food was excellent and we received superb service from Ms. Gladis. We will definitely be back.

Men at reception very nice and friendly. Only thing was the shower (205) - if I put the water to be hot, it took about 5 minutes to heat up, and was like a dribble, and after another few minutes it would turn unpleasantly cold again. I tried all combinations of main/hand held shower head and fully turned towards hot lever and half way, nothing fixed it. It's a shame, because everything else was great. I think the shower pressure and temperature issues should be fixed if one is paying that much per night.

We had an unforgettable weekend. An idyllic location, a wonderful hotel, and above all, the staff's service. Thank you so much, truly.

It is essential to spend at least one night in this exceptional place.
