Wunderbar

Unfortunately, we had the same experience as others. As a guest, you feel like a nuisance. Even though the restaurant was almost empty and two waiters were standing around, blocking your way to the table, you waited at least 15 minutes before a waiter bothered to come to your table. Never again.

We go to Gran Canaria every year for Winter Pride and often visit the Wunderbar. The bar is a place where you feel welcome. Even in the biggest crowds, the staff never loses their composure and are always in good spirits. We were usually served by Micki or Nico, who both do an excellent job. The prices are absolutely reasonable. I find it a bit annoying that when the Yumbo shopping center is very crowded, you're bombarded with different music from the surrounding bars, which gets a little tiring after a while. The bar's location is actually perfect, if it weren't for the nearby garbage station, from which a rather unpleasant smell occasionally wafts over.

Gran Canaria, and the "WunderBar" in particular, are always worth a visit. You simply have to watch the Eurovision Song Contest at the WunderBar. Currently, there's a big party event happening at Yumbo in November, so the WunderBar is naturally very busy. Despite the high volume of customers, the drinks are served professionally and courteously. We hope you'll understand that things don't always run perfectly smoothly with such a large crowd. So, enjoy your evening, sip some cocktails, and have a wonderful time at the WunderBar. Thanks to the entire staff!

Nicht so wunderbar. Ten years ago this was a great bar. Now the front-of-house guys have a real attitude. The seating area is often messy and smokey. Service can be reluctant, sarcastic and slow. I feel sorry for Martin who runs the bar as it seems like his staff are having a laugh at his expense. Nearby bars are much better.

Ordered at bar I asked for 2 beers the barman older like myself then turned away from me to complete serving someone else. I waited patiently then when he resumed I asked "and a coke zero". He exploded "AND AND AND AND stop the AND" I thought at first he was joking. No he meant it. I think the idea is staff and customers are polite to each other. Visted the bar many times since the 1990s spending decent amounts- That's it I am out -Your "Wunder" charm has faded away.

Excellent bar, incredibly friendly staff, very nice owner, best limoncello on the island.

This is a great place to go for drinks in the evening and watch the vibrant and colorful scene at the Yumbo mall. The cocktails are highly recommended. The staff is very friendly. The ambiance could be even more impressive. Overall, though, it's fantastic.

They even have rosemary to go with your drink! It's simply wonderful at "WUNDERBAR". Love you all!

Overall, it's good. The only downside is that one waiter makes you feel like you're bothering him while he's doing nothing and that he doesn't want to serve you. A shame. Otherwise, a very nice bar.

The WUNDERBAR in the Yumbo Center is a must for all gin and tonic lovers. But all the other cocktails are mixed very professionally as well. It's a very friendly bar with very nice staff. You can sit comfortably in armchairs, at standing tables on bar stools, or directly at the bar with the very friendly bartender. There's a different music program every evening, but a major focus is definitely on the music from the Eurovision Song Contest. Since I discovered this bar, I can't imagine spending my evenings anywhere else. If you're looking for good drinks and conversation, this is the place to be. THANKS ;-)

The most friendly owner, amazing staff.

Excellent, the Piña Colada was delicious. They had Eurovision Song Contest themed evenings. Attentive staff. The fact that card payments are only accepted for amounts over €8 is completely incomprehensible to me.
