Hotel Caro

Be careful when staying here. Some rooms are amazing like just absolutely wonderful BUT if you’re not careful, they will put you in a room that literally touches the pool and the bar and you’ll be woken up in the morning by loud tourists and will not be able to relax all day because of kids playing in the pool, things like that. Some of the balconies in the hotel either literally are level with and touch the pool so you end up not being able to go out there or people are staring at you and other balconies back onto a school of kids so if you don’t mind a lot of noise, you’ll be fine, but if you really want a quiet hotel, you have to be very, very careful here and the staff will not be honest with you about it. If you complain about the noise or broken things in your room in my experience, you have to take pictures and videos or the staff will tell you that they don’t know what you’re talking about or that you are wrong I love this hotel when I’m lucky enough to get a quiet room but really dislike it when they give me one that is loud and again they won’t be honest with you about it, you have to find out for yourself and roll the dice. If they give you room 5 you’re better off refusing it or just not even staying here and going to a different hotel.

What a fantastic hotel. Every room is unique and our room had a part of the original city walls. It was very spacious with good bathroom/shower. Robes in the room were a nice touch and the mini bar was complementary. Free tea / coffee delivered to the room too. The location was perfect for exploring the city and accessing the park. Metro is only a ten min walk away and goes direct to/from the airport. The plunge pool was great to have a drink and cool down after a long day walking the city. Staff were very friendly and gave good insights into the city on arrival and were always happy to offer restaurant tips and advice.

Amazing stay. We were in Valencia for a few nights and Caro Hotel was the highlight. The hotel is an old restored building and they’ve kept these incredible original walls - our room had a chunk of ancient Roman and Arab stonework as the feature wall, which looked amazing lit up at night. Modern and historic at the same time. Hotel staff were what made it great. Genuinely couldn’t do enough for us - so accommodating from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. World class hospitality. Location is spot on too. Quiet little street so you actually sleep, but you’re minutes from the cathedral, the old town and loads of great food. Stayed here on our honeymoon and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Valencia.

The welcome at Hotel Caro was warm from the moment we arrived, and the setting, at once historic, elegant, and peaceful, immediately invites relaxation. The staff stands out for their helpfulness and, above all, for the quality of their advice: sightseeing, restaurants, great places to eat… they take the time to offer personalized recommendations and provide a concierge service by spontaneously making reservations for us. The generous and excellent breakfast features delicious local products. Finally, the special attention given to my partner's birthday touched us deeply. We wholeheartedly recommend this ideally located hotel. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so serene and perfect.

This is an exceptionally elegant hotel that is perfectly tucked away but still in a fantastic area. The rooms are gorgeous and the food is great too. The real star though, is the staff. They go above and beyond to make your stay amazing and are super knowledgeable about the history of the building. They also seem to really enjoy each other as coworkers which makes for an overall warm atmosphere.

We highly recommend this hotel. A very warm welcome. Stunning room, exceptional breakfast. Only downside: The pool leaves something to be desired.

We stayed at Caro Valencia from April 22nd to 26th. Highly recommended, good location, clean rooms and friendly people. The breakfast was a 10/10.

My hotel in Valencia. It’s just the best.

An absolute gem and defining hotel of our stay. We had randomly found this hotel while zooming in and out on Google maps and looking through neighborhoods and gosh, what a find. This is one of the oldest inhabited buildings in all of Valencia and the character and charm are unparalleled. The neighborhood itself is so beautiful and the staff are quite friendly and helpful as well, which is always a nice touch. We were in the room style with the arabic tour which was a split level loft - bed upstairs, bathroom/shower/bath tub and little living room salon downstairs. They had a few welcome bites in the room when we checked in and were also super flexible about when they could pop in to clean the room while we were between adventuring and napping as a result of a cold. We also somehow left our key IN the room door and panicked on check out but a good samaritan and/or housekeeping had seen it and given it to the front desk. This spot is located in a nice area with plenty of walkable sights and you can public transit around as well. This was one of our favorite stays in our entire trip and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a unique, charming, and interesting stay.
