We have been staying at Kenwood hall many times for nearly 10 years . The location is great for Sheffield or the peaks . We love the outside gardens to sit out with a drink or wander round with the dog . The staff are always helpful and friendly and Nicky on the desk gives us a lovely welcome and looks after all our needs

We had two really relaxing days at the Kenwood Hall Hotel. The grounds at the back are beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were helpful and attentive - particularly Ranjan. Compliments to the breakfast chef too

I am pleased that Nicky was on duty at reception when we checked in. I had to amend my booking due to cancer treatment which I thought was sorted when I received a confirming email. On arrival it appeared that the left and right hand had not communicated and my change wasn’t on the computer. As I Nicky had confirmed the change she quickly sorted things out. Whilst the room was spacious, with the very hot weather it was uncomfortable. Sadly ac is now a must for 4 star hotels. The swivel chair was in a poor state of repair and was unsafe as one of swivel legs was detached. The restaurant staff were courteous and very efficient. The spa was good the cleanliness in the ladies changing was not good with lots of wet tissues and towels left lying on the floor. I recognise you cannot overcome the habits of your clients! A number of the lounger cushions were stained. Lovely grounds. In summary an enjoyable visit but a little updating needed and attention to detail.

I want to say a massive thank you to mercure hotel they have made us feel so welcomed for my partner birthday he had a lovely time here and I want to say thank you to nicky for upgrading us complimentary for my partners birthday it was so kind of her and made him smile and for the wonderful bar and kitchen for making our evening meal special we will definitely come back here again so lovely and peaceful just what we wanted
