Pousada Península de Búzios

We stayed two nights at the inn and the experience was excellent. The place is extremely clean, located in a safe neighborhood, and the room was spotless. The TV was huge, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower has great water pressure; when we arrived, the heating element had burned out, but the problem was resolved in just five minutes, demonstrating great efficiency. The view is beautiful, the pools are very good and well-maintained. The breakfast is very good, although with little variety, everything is delicious and prepared with great care. The hosts are extremely welcoming and attentive. Special mention goes to the dulce de leche, which is simply divine. The inn also has a great location, with easy access and quick service via both Uber and 99. I loved the experience and definitely intend to return.

They made me feel right at home, always attentive to my arrival, giving me recommendations for places to visit and tours, which was key for me since I was traveling alone with my children 🙌 The facilities are a 10/10: everything was spotless, beautiful, and designed for true relaxation. I was even able to work without any problems, with good internet and zero noise 💻✨ And the breakfast… on another level 🤍 very homemade, varied, and delicious—the kind you savor at your leisure. The place was magical. Excellent service, breathtaking scenery, delicious breakfast. We absolutely loved the place. The staff were so welcoming and we felt like home. We had the best moments of our time here at Buzios.

My experience was very negative. When we made the reservation, the photos provided did not show the bathroom. Upon arrival, we found a bathroom in very poor condition: a broken mirror, a water leak, and a generally unsanitary state. Furthermore, the towels were visibly stained, which is unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint. Because the accommodation did not match what was shown in the photos, we requested a cancellation. However, we received no solution. The receptionist, while polite, had no decision-making power and was unable to help us. The person in charge, Leonardo, never contacted us directly. He only spoke on the phone with the receptionist and refused to look for an alternative, simply demanding payment and threatening to call the police. I believe that the customer service and the condition of the facilities are not up to par with what is advertised. I would not recommend it.

I booked a stay via WhatsApp, paying a 25% deposit to the inn. Two days later, a storm forecast for the Southeast region began to circulate, so I requested to exercise my right to reschedule the stay within 7 days of booking, as stipulated by the Consumer Protection Code. Upon making this request, the inn informed me that it was not possible because there were less than 7 days remaining until the stay, contradicting what the law stipulates. When I pointed out that I was exercising a right, the inn first stopped responding and then began responding ironically, using expressions like "thanks, thanks" and stating that I could no longer stay with them. In the end, I managed to get a refund, but the way I handled the service was unprofessional and childish. Be wary of Denis and Leonardo's "kindness," as it only exists as long as you don't contradict them.

Cozy guesthouse, great location near Forno Beach, wonderful pool! But the highlight is the attentive and helpful service.
