Hotel Caesar Park Rio de Janeiro Ipanema Managed by Sofitel

The Caesar Park, managed by Sofitel, is an upscale hotel on Avenida Vieira Souto, directly facing Ipanema beach. It is a mainstream hotel that is gay-friendly, not a gay property, though the location helps: the rainbow-flag stretch of sand at the end of Rua Farme de Amoedo is a short walk along the beach. Rooms have marble bathrooms and either sea or Dois Irmãos hill views. Facilities include a rooftop pool, a sauna, a fitness room, two bars, a restaurant and bike rental. It holds a 4.6 Google rating from about 2,500 reviews. Ask for a sea-facing room.
