Banana Cipó is a marvel in the middle of the mountains. The highlight is the lovely staff and the amazing pets. The pools are spacious and you can enjoy them even when they're crowded. The snacks served in the kitchen are great. The breakfast is a standout and includes excellent options of cold cuts and fried foods. Comfortable beds and great showers. The staff is very attentive and helpful regarding any difficulties that may arise during very rainy periods. It's my number 1 choice... even more so now with the gym!

We stayed during Carnival 2026. The room is spacious, but it had a strong musty smell. The pools are very good, but the heated pool had a very strong chemical smell. The water is very warm. The outdoor pool is quite cold, as it is not heated, but it is quite large. The children love it. Until 6 pm it is possible to order some snacks for the rooftop near the pool. The breakfast left a little to be desired. Even with the inn full, the options were few.

The chalets are great.

What a wonderful place!!! I loved everything! The reception, the room, the organization, the snacks, and the heated pool was simply amazing. Everything was really great. I highly recommend it.

We stayed at Pousada Banana Cipó between November 20th and 23rd (holiday) and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience, especially regarding safety. For two days, the pool, advertised as heated, was cold, which greatly frustrated our stay, as this was one of the criteria for choosing the inn. The most serious incident occurred on the last day when we found a scorpion in the room. This represents a real risk to life, especially considering accidents involving stings, which can be extremely dangerous. It is unacceptable for a guest to encounter a situation of this magnitude in their room, which should be the safest place in the accommodation. Furthermore, the gym was in poor condition, with dirt, broken equipment, and the presence of lizards, making the space unusable and giving a feeling of total lack of maintenance. Positive points: ✔️ Excellent breakfast ✔️ Polite and helpful staff ✔️ ​​Great location However, the negative points, especially the risk to physical safety, outweigh the negatives. We hope the inn urgently reviews its pest control, maintenance, and security protocols so that other guests do not experience the same danger.

Pousada Banana Cipó is our top and best accommodation option in Serra do Cipó! A pleasant environment, with great comfort and various leisure options. We are the kind of people who enjoy everything around us and, especially, everything about the space: comfortable beds, clean rooms and bathrooms, air conditioning, fan, sauna, great showers. Not to mention the two wonderful swimming pools, one of which is heated! Of course, the breakfast is full of fresh and very well-prepared options! And now this: it has a perfect gym, putting many spas and 5-star resorts to shame, complete, large and with new equipment. Besides all that, the staff are lovely, like family to us. This time we also ate the famous macaroni from the kitchen. As I always say, we LOVE cats! It makes you want to live here: 25 minutes walk from the top of the Véu da Noiva and Mãe D'água waterfalls. Sensational for working from home! Next time I want to spend a month at Banana Cipó!
