Le Petit Chef - Edmonton

Seriously. It boggles my mind how this place is in business. The little animation deal was so out of synch. The waitress was on Pluto. Food was cold, sub standard . I got the meat dish, my wife got the vegan. Both were literally inedible. The steak(?) was something not if this world. Like fake or something? Idk. Neither of finished our dinners, like even close. Mentioned to the waitress and she just took away, no apologu, nothing. Bill came and lets it was pricey even with our 200 dollar gift card. Asked for the manger, told him the situation, and he magnanimously took off the 70 dollar surcharge... Huh? Nothing else. Terrible experience. Terrible food. Terrible ambience/service. Left totally go smacked.

My husband surprised me by taking me to Le Petit Chef dinner. I had never heard or seen anything like this dining experience before. I was intrigued and then captivated by the whimsical story, then to top it off with 4 delicious courses. I would highly recommend going at least once. (It is a bit expensive but totally worth the show and dinner)

We went to the Marriot for the Le Petit Chef and had Nelson as our server. He was amazing!

Please reduce the price, it is absurdly high and alienates most people. I took a gamble booking this and it was extremely underwhelming and expensive. I also specifically requested a table to ourselves for our anniversary but we were seated by a couple when there were multiple tables with room. Unless they reserved the whole table I don’t see why we couldn’t have had our own table. The gentlemen over the phone assured me we would have a private table or at the very least a table to ourselves. $17 for a 1/4 glass of wine is also outrageous. Overall it’s a neat experience and the servers were nice but definitely not worth the price considering food portions are small and expensive.
