Parc du Mont-Royal (Beaver Lake)

We went snowshoeing and it was so fun. The park employees were very nice and helpful. The snowshoe trails are well marked and the views were great. We would go back.

It was my first experience with American-style parks, and it was truly unique compared to what we have in Europe. So spacious! The open landscapes and natural beauty make it a perfect spot to relax between sightseeing. It's the link between nature and the city. A mountain right in the heart of Montreal. Bike path, nature, chalets, lake, kayaking in the summer, skating rink and winter games in the winter, barbecues… simply amazing. You can walk up from downtown Montreal to hike, picnic, run… You can see Montreal from above: the sky, the Olympic Stadium, Saint Joseph's Oratory… Definitely not to be missed during your visit.
