Holiday Inn Express Windsor Waterfront, an IHG Hotel

Prime location, superb service, great value. We stayed there May 28-31, 2026. The place is located right on the lovely waterfront with gorgeous views and great trails to explore. It’s is right next to the Windsor Casino. A large indoor water park and an aquatic sports centre is also located within a short walking distance. For the thoughtful traveller, right next to it, there is a nice Chimczuk Museum and Windsor Art Gallery with interesting exhibits on Windsor-Detroit history and culture. The hotel staff were fantastic and super responsive. We just casually mentioned something we had wish for and the maintenance guy was at our door within a couple of hours. The front desk people couldn’t be any nicer. The included breakfast was a very good value. My personal favourite were the delicious pork sausages. All in all, we definitely recommend this hotel and will gladly stay here again.

Great location and view from the 10th floor. Breakfast was filling, beds are comfortable, parking lot is horrendous.

Security took over 30 minutes to respond to a fight on our floor. Not acceptable. Oh, and two nights in a row!? Parking is a paid garage a block away. Riverfront trail is nice.

We stayed for 3 nights. On the first night we had to call the front desk multiple times due to occupants verbally arguing at an excessive volume after midnight for multiple hours. Unfortunately, this again occurred throughout the second night. The verbal fight paired with delayed response by staff impacted the quality of our sleep, and our enjoyment throughout the weekend. Staff did not address issues in a timely manner and did little to make the situation right.

My favorite IHG location in Windsor. Nice views and lots of places to eat and things to do.

Had a weekend trip here to go to the casino last year. The hotel was a great price, and the staff was very friendly. The room itself was very spacious and very clean. Not a far walk the the Caesars which is great. The staff was able to get me late check out at no additional cost which was great. I wish I stayed here for both of my nights in Windsor, as staying at the Caesars was not as enjoyable. If you are in the Windsor area this is a great place to stay.

“Our stay was very disappointing. The room was not clean, the service was poor, and to make things worse, we saw a bed bug in the washroom. For the price we paid, the experience was unacceptable. We would not recommend staying here.”

This was our 3rd visit to this hotel since last year, and once again, it was an excellent experience. The hotel is in a prime location with beautiful views from the room. Customer service was warm and welcoming throughout our stay. A special thank you to Faze and Anamika for being so friendly and accommodating to our concerns. Our kids were especially happy to receive free cookies upon arrival — such a thoughtful touch! Highly recommended, and we look forward to visiting again.

The only redeeming quality of this hotel was the kind staff. The television is advertised as a smart tv but it doesn’t actually have any smart qualities. We even brought a USB with movies on it and that didn’t work on the tv. Our room was not very clean, there was a brown mark on our bedding. The bed was very uncomfortable and we left early because of our lack of sleep.
