X Y (anteriormente Bar Myxto)

Very nice bar with an excellent drag show. It is a pity that I only discovered this bar on my last night in Havana otherwise I would have visited this cozy club more times. Beer is 3.30 cuc but there is no entrance fee. This is a very good alternative for the state run club Las Vegas. Ps. I wrote above review 4 years ago and I am kind of shocked by the bad reviews which were posted more recently. What is happening to Cuba in general and to this bar in particular??? I was thinking of returning to Havana this year but because of the bad critics I am reading over and over again about present day Cuba I better look for a more pleasant and friendlier alternative, of which there are plenty in this world!

We arrived at 1 a.m., it was empty... There was only one table of Colombians and one of Cubans. They wouldn't let me sit on the stools because the ENTIRE bar was reserved unless you bought a bottle for 8,000 Cuban pesos. The bathrooms had no water at all... Honestly, it left a very bad taste in my mouth, at least in my opinion, and I wouldn't go back.

Thanks to awake guards it is One of few gay bars in Havana that tourists may enjoy without being asked by strangers for beers etc. Young crowd, the usual show and ok music.

The place itself is very good, but what many people don't like is that it's not allowed to enter wearing a t-shirt or dress shorts, and that rubs some customers the wrong way, customers who are lost.

Avoid this place... unpleasant staff, you need to spend at least €50 to get a seat, and too many young people waiting for money, it's sad

AWFUL! I ADVISE YOU NOT TO EVEN GO NEAR IT. WHY EVEN CONTINUE TALKING? EVERYTHING BAD YOU CAN IMAGINE IS THERE. I'M JUST SAYING THAT I ALMOST NEVER WRITE EVERYTHING IN CAPITALS AND NOW I'M DOING IT BECAUSE THEY DESERVE IT. THE LEAST THEY CHARGED FOR AIR CONDITIONING AND ROOM RENTAL, AND IT'S SO HOT YOU COULD FAINT. THAT'S ALL I HAVE TO SAY.

The five stars you see must have been given by fake profiles or friends of the managers of this bar. I'm sorry to give one star when it deserves zero. High prices (9 euros for a can of beer...) and rude behaviour of some of the employees are the highlights of this place. There are toilettes indeed, but the middle aged woman who checks on them (!!!) put herself in the middle of the entry to force you to pay and you're forced to touch her knees with your genitals or butt to get in or out. Sickening.
