Renaissance Wind Creek Curacao Resort

This was the perfect location for our first visit to the island. I have stayed at many Marriott properties and resorts. The staff at this hotel really stood out. Front desk attendants, bell captains, parking lot attendants, security, restaurant staff, housekeeping etc…everyone was very helpful and extremely welcoming. Thank you Darrin, Alexis, Martina, Dina (5 o clock somewhere) and all the staff at the hotel and restaurants for your kind hospitality. The property was very clean and well maintained. The infinity pool was nice but the real selling point is the location. It is a very short walk to all sorts of restaurants and shops. The walking bridge to the other side of town was out for repairs but the ferry was convenient and easy to use. If you want easy access to all the activities of Willemstad, this is a great spot to choose. We rented a car and getting in and out of the hotel property was very easy and very safe. We never had to drive or park anywhere in town because everything was in walking distance. There is no ocean front beach access but you have dozens of amazing beaches on the island to choose from. The cruise ships park right next to the hotel but other than an influx of other tourists at the local stores, it didn’t impact our stay at all. The rooms were quiet and the AC worked really well. No issues whatsoever with WiFi or connectivity. Overall it was an excellent hub for us to explore the island and nice oasis to return to after a day of adventures. I would definitely come back and stay again.

The Starbucks belonging to the hotel was one of my personal highlights. It's included in the all-inclusive package. We mostly ate set menus. It was outstanding. The infinity beach is beautiful. Because of its location right at the harbor entrance, we often saw interesting ships. The cruise ship dock is directly visible.

Staying here was ok. I was there for my honeymoon and husband's bday. I love the location. It's close to restaurants and the bridge. There is not an actual beach but the view and beach like area is nice. We got room service and it was just ok. My burger was burnt. The AC went off for a day and we didnt get sleep. I woke up drenched in sweat. I asked about a room upgrade twice and could not get any options. The dinner buffet did not look so good. The main things I enjoyed was the access to rift fort and the pool area. I would have liked to have changed resorts during my stay but I had already paid. People seem to love this resort but I feel it did not meet my expectations for celebrating such big events in our lives.

We recently held our wedding at the Renaissance Wind Creek in Curacao. From the very beginning of our planning process, Rose-Ann the hotel’s Event Manager, was our main point of contact. Over a year prior we reached out to multiple possible vendors and Rose-Ann stood out right away from the rest. For nearly a year, she helped us plan and bring our vision for our wedding to life. Rose-Ann made the entire planning process feel stress-free. She was incredibly helpful, responsive to our emails, patient with all of our questions, insightful with her suggestions, and accommodating with making our ideas a reality. We started with an expectation of 30 guest but over the course of the year we ended up with 80 of our closest family members and friends attending. Her attention to detail and dedication truly exceeded our expectations. When we arrived at the resort, Rose-Ann was there from the moment we arrived and remained involved throughout the entire event to make sure everything ran smoothly. Even making adjustment for elderly family members with mobility issues. We are so grateful for everything she did to make our wedding day so special. She is truly amazing at what she does, and we could not have asked for a better person to help us plan such an important day. Everything about the wedding was wonderful—from the decorations and music to the cake, food, and overall service. The staff who worked our wedding were professional, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Our guests could not stop talking about how exceptional the service was and how much they enjoyed the food. Several of our guests have already mentioned that they would love to return to Curaçao and stay at the Renaissance based on the wonderful experience they had. We truly could not have asked for a more beautiful and memorable wedding experience. Thank you to Rose-Ann and the entire Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao team for helping make our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be. We can not express enough how much we are so grateful to her and cannot wait to return to the Renaissance to visit again!

Amazing place with private beach. Close to city center, rif fort and Cruise terminal. Great place to eat in the many restaurants and party at the casino. Very professional team. Make sure to book a room with a view.
