Camino Verde / Ciudad Universitaria (Gay Cruising Area)

Camino Verde is the wild, wooded green belt across the volcanic-rock terrain of Ciudad Universitaria, UNAM's vast campus in the south of the city near the Centro Cultural Universitario (Metrobus Line 1). It is a legendary, long-running outdoor gay cruising ground with a student-heavy crowd, active in daylight as well as the evening thanks to the tree cover. The setting is natural and open, so wear sturdy shoes and bring water; as anywhere after dark, use ordinary caution and don't go deep into unlit areas alone. Same-sex activity is legal in Mexico.
