The good news: 1. Elegant rooms , comparable with five star accommodation anywhere, but especially remarkable for this town! The BEST accommodation in zipolite. And that rarest of rare commodities in zipolite: hot water showers available 24/7! 😀 2. The friendliest of staff, especially caleb, craig, emiio, isaac and jessica! 😀 3. Elegant fine dining. Think of el alchemista+: fine dining. quiet setting with stellar views and none of the noise pumped into its competitor's ostinato sound system. 😀 I encountered some food poisoning though. Imodum and electrolytes required to restablize my system. I was okay by the following morning. 😞 4. Two of the friendliest dogs to be found anywhere. 😀 😀 5. A free happy hour with plenty of new friends to be made. 😀 😀 😀 6. Quite Adequate, free hot breakfast in the morning. 😀 7. Discreet, clothing, optional areas including one pool set aside for guests. 😀 8. Comfortable beds and linens: the Most important item at any good hotel. 😀 9. In room televisions, for those of us who like to watch the evening news! 😀 Now what doesn't quite work: 1. No exercise room or designated outside area with aerobic and anaerobic equipment. Too far from the new fitness center in zipolite to mitigate that. I know that they only have nineteen villas, but this is pretty much required these days. 😞 😞 2. Stairs, stairs and more stairs. Plan accordingly. At least it eliminates the need for stairmaster. 😀 (Minor) 3. No do not disturb cards. I didn't require housekeeping service after my first evening, but got it anyway. (Minor) 4. Rocky beach. Probably plan on walking to zipolite. (Minor to-major) 😞 5. Ants in the room are a bit of a problem. Recommend you bring spray. 😞
A super cute place, the service is amazing and the food is delicious ❤️ They put so much heart into everything, and even though it can be a little difficult going up and down because of the height, I would definitely stay here again 💕
Nothing less than a magnificent and a magical place. Probably the best I've stayed at. The entire resort is unrealistically beautiful, as if living inside a postcard. Also, the team is just amazing - every staff member is so sweet and helpful, which have made our stay incredibly smooth. I would like to fly all the way back to Mexico just to stay in this place again. An absolute 10/10 on every parameter!
We absolutely loved this place. It had everything we wanted and more. The staff was so nice and very attentive. The rooms were clean & comfortable. The rooms had nice wine glasses and a smart tv. The bed was very comfortable. The staff recommended a local pizza place that was outstanding. There are many great restaurants nearby that are walking distance. The Italian place that Caleb recommended was amazing. He was a pleasure to talk to. Christopher was also a treat to talk to & the lady at breakfast was so attentive & sweet. I can see why this place had such great reviews & so happy we chose this place. We hope to come back very soon. The staff really stood out from any other hotel that I can remember. What an unbelievable experience. Thank you so much to an incredible experience.
Probably the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. The villa with its pool and views across to Zipolite beach, the wonderful friendly staff team who made us feel so welcome. The breakfast and happy hour were great to meet other guests. The villa was so comfortable and beautifully decorated and very well equipped. It was a perfect stay so thank you so much to Isaac and his team.
A hotel with an excellent atmosphere and very friendly staff throughout. Its pools, although small, have perfectly heated water, and the views are simply beautiful! Their happy hour is ideal for people to socialize, chat, and enjoy a beautiful sunset. Access without a car is a bit tricky, but you can easily get there by taxi. You can reach the main beach by walking for about 10 minutes along a dirt path; it's not difficult, but you need to be in good shape because there's a set of stairs that I don't recommend if you have mobility issues. As for the rooms, we stayed in the Maquil Almond Room, which had its own private pool—a delight! It had everything you need for a pleasant and extremely comfortable stay, and it was quiet despite being next to the main restaurant. The included breakfasts are a bonus, as there's no need to leave the hotel early. It's simply a great adults-only hotel that we will definitely return to and highly recommend.
