Royal St. Kitts Hotel

We had a great time visiting family in St. Kitts. The Royal St. Kitts was excellent we really enjoyed our stay. Location was close to stores. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Royal Hotel in May 2026 for 2 weeks when visiting St Kitts with my husband for a family wedding. The hotel has a beautiful ambiance, the grounds are delightful and the self catering rooms are well equipped. Shops and amenities are beside the hotel, we especially visited Rams supermarket and Sweet & Savoury. Splash, the hotel's restaurant was a go to for lovely food. People on the island and hotel were so nice and helpful. I have to make a special call out to Blondell, it was such a pleasure to meet her. Thanks so much Blondell, you made our visit to the St Kitts feel so comfortable, like we were visiting old friends, Thank you so much!

Ideal hotel surrounded by restaurats and the beach is not too far. You either can walk or use transportstion. Two swimming pools on property which we used both. There is secuirty around the clock so I felt extra safe at nights. The room we stayed in was an upgrade to what my partner booked, what a surprise. The room was clean and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay there becsuse the staff we encountered made us feel like family, always engaging us in a brief conversations. Thank you to Ms. Jeffrey at reception who arranged all of our transportation needs. You are the best. We are already planning our next visit for December and would be staying at the Royal St. Kitts Hotel. See you guys soon.

Overall Impression & Location I stayed here in May 2025. It is a lovely self-catering hotel in an excellent location, close to supermarkets, bars, and takeaways, though it also has its own on-site restaurant and bars. Friars Bay is either a 20-minute walk or a $10usd taxi ride away, offering plenty of beachside dining. For fresh produce, local roadside vendors sell great organic fruit and veg, which is a nice alternative to the imported supermarket stock. ​Room & Amenities The grounds are beautiful, featuring two pools and an on-site herb garden perfect for fresh morning herbal teas. The rooms are a good size and equipped with both air conditioning and ceiling fans. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep with good quality bedding. The kitchen area was clean with a basic tea/coffee selection, though some utensils needed rewashing before use. I also really appreciated the hotel’s eco-friendly focus on water conservation and waste reduction. ​Staff & Service The staff are lovely and incredibly helpful, particularly the reception team. My initial room had a slightly damp smell, but reception quickly reallocated me to a much better one. There was a minor maintenance communication breakdown a loose toilet seat wasn't fully repaired by the night team and the issue wasn't passed on to the day shift but it remained usable. Housekeeping was excellent, providing daily cleaning and fresh towels.

I had the Cornish game hen at the restaurant, and it made me very sick for 48 hours. Big bummer on my trip

I first heard about this hotel through a friend of a friend and I am happy I followed the recommendation. I would happily suggest it to anyone visiting St. Kitts. The rooms are cozy, the property is well-kept and the location couldn’t be better. just a short walk to the famous Frigate Bay beach. Plus, there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The staff really made the stay special. Everyone was welcoming and attentive, and I have to give a big shoutout to Blondel at reception and Micca at Splash. Both were a pleasure to interact with. They made me feel at home. If you are looking for a place to stay in St. Kitts, this hotel is absolutely worth it. You won’t be disappointed. Take my word for it.

The room that I'm in is a good size. I am in the rooms on the second level so there are some stairs to climb for those who like to pack heavy. But overall, good location walking distance from restaurants, casino and the beach. I can't say it's the best beach, but it is a beach. I did have an issue with my door but got that resolved pretty swiftly.

First time staying here, good view from balcony overlooking the lake. Rather good resturant, all good resturants have small menus. Smaller hotel than the Marriot over the road but a lot less costly.

It was an amazing stay and a beautiful location. The staff was great. Really was a memorable time.
