Blend

Blend is a gay-owned gastropub at 1310 Dorchester Avenue in Dorchester, open since 2018 in the old Peggy O'Neil's. Time Out puts it on its list of Boston's gay bars, and the crowd is one of the most mixed in the city, with a lot of queer people of colour and Latino regulars. The kitchen does gastropub plates, and the calendar has queer trivia, Drag Race viewings and drag and disco brunches on alternating Sundays. Hours are 5pm to 10pm Tuesday to Thursday, 5pm to 2am Friday and Saturday, and 11am to 5pm Sunday; it's closed Monday. Savin Hill and Fields Corner on the Red Line are each about a ten-minute walk, and dbar is a few minutes up the avenue.
