Radisson Hotel Cedar Rapids

nice hotel, rooms are nice but gave it 4 stars because they dont have a microwave. friendly staff and a pretty good breakfast. gave location 4 stars as there isnt much for within walking distance for meals. will definetly stay here again

I've stayed here multiple times over the past few months and the Air conditioning has not worked in any of the rooms i have stay in. i hope this gets resolved before the summer months. the rooms are nicely remodeled however.

Highly recommend for any type of business events . Spaces and good service.

Great hotel wish rooms had a microwave

If there are people in the bar/lobby area it's very loud all the way to the above rooms. It's a nice hotel but not quiet if people are celebrating in the bar/lobby area. Good free breakfast. Plenty of parking.

Room smelled terrible. A smoker stunk the place up bad! I asked for another room and they said one wasn’t available. I can’t believe they rent this room out. It needs to be seriously cleaned and fumigated. Just an awful stay

First of all, my room was not ready by the expected check-in time. I had to leave and kill an hour before coming back. Unfortunately, the service during this situation was not great, and there was no apology or sympathy shown for the inconvenience. When I returned, I walked into my room. I will say the rooms themselves are simple, modern, and nice. However, the room was not fully clean. The pillows were placed sideways on the bed (photo attached), and the bed was not made. Because of this, I ended up grabbing a blanket from my car and sleeping on that, since there was no way I felt comfortable laying my head on pillows that looked unwashed. In the bathroom and shower, I found pubic hair and other hair. The bathroom garbage can was missing, and the living room garbage can had trash in the bottom of it and didn’t even have a liner in it, which is something most hotels normally provide. For a hotel of this size, basic cleanliness and attention to detail should not be overlooked. I will say one positive thing: the hotel itself is beautiful and very large. When you walk in, there is a huge waterfall connected to the elevator area, which makes a great first impression. I was very excited to stay here after seeing the photos online. Unfortunately, I expected the rooms to match that same level of beauty and cleanliness. Maybe this was just one lazy worker who didn’t thoroughly clean the room, but based on my experience, I will not be returning to this hotel.

Lisa at the front desk was amazing! She was working the front desk and cleaning up rooms at the same time, she for sure is one of the greatest assets the hotel has. Most definitely should give this girl a raise. Going above and beyond, and still able to meet every expectation. Very impressed with her work ethic and thank you Lisa for going above and beyond your line of duty to make our stay more than we could have expected!
