Sango Kura

Went on a whim to check out Sango Kura with my bf since our preferred place was closed. Heard good things. The decor and ambiance seemed pretty cool & we told the waitress we’d be dining outside and 20 minutes passed—no one bothered to check on us and we were chewed up outside by mosquitoes while waiting for someone to take our orders. No one bothered to check on us or take orders so we left. Really unfortunate experience and it wasn’t even busy. We were the only PoC in the establishment…don’t know if that was a factor or what but we just ended up leaving. Won’t be coming back to check out this place, unfortunately.

Love this place, so much atmosphere and fun! So busy but the servers handled well!

The pinball is great and the food was delicious, especially the tuna tataki!!! Heather was so helpful and kind! Lexi was also really wonderful. Definitely will be going back

Not bad food. I came from over an hour away to hike mt Tammany and decided to stop here for a bite to eat. I got the spicy ramen. It wasn't bad by any means but it wasn't great. I've had much better ramen from other places. This place does have a nice atmosphere. Very unique. Arcade/pinball machines, they have their own branded sake drinks which is pretty cool. They have a small area where you can play retro games like super Mario bros which I found to be awesome. Would recommend for atmosphere not the food

Simply amazing place to enjoy authentic food and drinks. I stopped in to play some pinball and relax after a long day at work. 1000% going back!

Decided to stop here for dinner and had no idea how amazing this place was! Lexi and Heather were both amazing. Food was 10/10. Definitely the best ramen in the area!

Service was fantastic, food was delicious, sake was top tier & the atmosphere was super fun. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Came here wanting to try the food after getting their sake at a market last year. Came in and sat down and ordered some drinks. 5 tables came in after us and every single one of them got taken care of before we got to order. The 2 girls working there walked past us several times without once glancing our way. We even witnessed a table that had been waiting for their check had to walk over and ask if someone could give them their check. I could see if it was busy, but there was one additional table in there when we got there. Paid for our drinks and left.

First time stopping in and won't be our last. Service was great and extremely friendly. Food was amazing and left full. Wife was a little nervous but she loved the salmon ramen.

Food is so-so, service at a snail pace. It wasn't always so bad, but my last two visits here have been dismal. If you're looking for just drinks and a chill atmosphere it'll be fine. Looking for food? They take FOREVER to serve it. Like close to an hour for fried chicken (karage) and tako-yaki. Its a little pricey for the amount of food you get as well. Kids have decided this isn't the valve to go because they show adult animes on the TV and they are not impressed by the quality of the food, and I'd have to agree.

We found this place a couple of months ago and it's now one of our Go To places. On Fridays they have a Friday Bites special (buy an adult beverage and get a free appetizer), a great way to try sample new foods. The atmosphere is eclectic and fun floor to ceiling. The servers are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable.

Stopped in briefly on a road trip and had no idea what I had stumbled upon. Sad I am usually on the other side of PA. I got the curry dip and smash burger. Both were delicious. I wanna come back for noodles! Love the merch, and all the different in house brewed sake. I spent a lot of money, but I don't mind paying more for a small business. Staff was very kind and attentive. Such a hidden gem. I hope to come back in the future.

WHY HAVENT I SUBMITTED A REVIEW FOR YOU GUYS YET?! Been going here since their inception. Other than the fact that you can get really good ramen, sake, AND play pinball... I always enjoy coming here. Other than the chain places, there aren't many places that do ramen like these guys do. The pub dishes they just incorporated are pretty damn close to something you'd find in Tokyo. We always stock up on their sake before our annual boat trip as well. Keep up the good work guys!
