Spa The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort &

This was our first time staying at The Westin Las Vegas, and the customer service was an absolute 10/10! Lucy at the front desk was incredibly accommodating. We had a minor, last-minute room adjustment, and given our tight time crunch, she completely understood our needs and pivoted quickly to take great care of us. While our room was being prepared, we checked out the lounge and restaurant. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area! I had the Asian sesame chicken salad, which was fantastic, and my travel companion loved her steak salad. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a huge plus for the complimentary water stations throughout the property, which is a lifesaver in this heat.
Very nice place with a beautiful setting. Staff were friendly for the most part. Rooms need an upgrade. There are no safes in the rooms but advertised as though there are. Carpet is worn and needs cleaning. Ice machines are not working so you have to go to the lobby bar to get ice. Food was good. Pool area clean.
A beautiful resort nestled in the peaceful Lake Las Vegas community. The Westin offers a relaxing escape from the busy Las Vegas Strip, with stunning lake views and plenty of space to unwind. It’s a great place to golf, walk the scenic pathways around the community, sightsee, enjoy the pools, or simply relax by the water. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, with well‑kept grounds and a resort layout that encourages slow, easy days. Whether you’re here for a getaway, a family stay, or just looking to enjoy the quieter side of Nevada, the Westin Lake Las Vegas is a lovely place to spend time.
Great hotel to chill out at before heading to Las Vegas.
Our stay at The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences our family has ever had. We booked a two-night stay for 2 adults and 3 children through Capital One Travel. After a six-hour drive, we arrived exhausted but hopeful for a relaxing stay. Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill. The first room assigned to us had a broken shower door. Thankfully, a young front desk employee handled the situation professionally and moved us to another room. He also assured us that the rollaway bed included in our reservation would be delivered later that evening. When we returned around 10 PM with three exhausted children, the bed had never arrived. The situation became even worse when we tried to resolve the issue with another front desk employee. The problem was not the lack of options—it was the way we were treated. We were met with impatience, dismissive behavior, interruptions, and a complete lack of empathy. As tired parents simply trying to find a sleeping arrangement for our child, we felt unwelcome and disrespected. To make matters worse, on the morning of checkout we discovered a large live cockroach inside the closet area of our room. We documented everything with photos and videos. Between the poor customer service, the broken room, the missing bed, and the cockroach, this stay fell far below the standards we expect from a Westin or Marriott property. What is most disappointing is that management never responded to our formal complaint after our stay. A simple acknowledgment or apology would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we cannot recommend this hotel.
I love this place for stay vacations. It's just outside of town and it is quiet and like being absolutely somewhere else. Then, going here for years. I do have to say my last visit was a little disappointing. Just because over the years, they have shut down accesses to the pool or to the lake. You no longer can use the beach Monday through Friday. Even during the summer, which is very frustrating because if you're like me, you tend to take vacations during the week rather than on the weekends. So to not be able to lies all of the amenities of the resort is a little frustrating, especially being that I had to pay an extra fee. Just to go paddleboarding because I couldn't access the lake from the Weston on the beach access. So so that was frustrating and I must say over the years it has become a little run down, especially outside, and I have to say, the service at the pool was extremely slow. She was great. She was friendly very like, but it was just slow. They don't have enough staff.
The 5 starts are for the housekeeping team! They are outstanding! Thank you guys!
