Very nice hotel with nice staff. Excellent location near park, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, etc. Breakfast was a bit disappointing.

I stayed in room 435 (I Think) the week of 3/30/2026-4/3/2026. When I first arrived, I discovered vomit remains on the toilet, especially down the front. You can see somewhat from the photos. I chose not report them as I assumed they would be cleaned at the next cleaning. However, my room was not even checked for two days until 4/1. The bed was not made and towels not changed. I was quite astounded by the lack of service, but I wanted to see how things would play out. Eventually my bed was made and towels changed out, but the vomit remained and probably still there. The vomit remains are an example of the poor management of this hotel. The bathroom vanity had obvious remains of previous guests on the counter from make up smears to other unidentified substances. How hard is it to clean a granite countertop? Overall, the rooms are not clean to the degree you would expect of the Marriott brand. However, it may be a Huntsville issue as the nearby Springhill Suites by Marriott is just as bad. My colleagues and I find hairs on our towels and sheets when we have stayed there with similar issues of unknown remains of substances on the counters. The AC Hotel also charges exorbitant prices for a continental breakfast that most hotels offer for free. They call it European inspired because they have muesli and prosciutto, which is so sad in its pretensions. You can get the better food included in your stay at cleaner hotels such as 106 Jefferson, Drury, or many other hotels in the area. I normally enjoy staying at Marriott in the West and in Europe, but the Huntsville Marriotts are well below average. Also, the promised happy hour on the second floor advertised on the website and in the elevators as shown in the photo does not exist. You go there and you find a sign directing you to the first floor overpriced bar. The utter dishonesty and pretentiousness of this hotel is astounding. I have stayed at many of Marriott’s finest hotels including the JW Marriott at Hyde Park in London which were amazing experiences that Huntsville can never match.

Walking distance to Braun Convention Ctr. Has 2 EV chargers. Comfortable rooms but hallways are dark. Friendly and helpful front desk.

I visited this hotel for two nights during a trip to the Space and Rocket Center. I was thanked for being a platinum member, given 4pm checkout upon request, and upgraded to a larger room on the 5th floor. The hotel was quiet and clean and staff were friendly. The hotel is also centrally located downtown steps away from the Von Braun Center.

Just stayed here for the second time in the past 2 years this weekend and it is definitely one of the better Marriotts I’ve stayed at. It’s located right in Downtown Huntsville so they’re plenty to do and eat within a walking distance. Across the way from the Von Braun Center and about a 10 minute walk from The Alabama Constitution Hall Park. Staff were also friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Great hotel for those traveling in a group or for events. Walking distance to nearby restaurants and convention center is right next door. Up to date rooms and amazing view from the 6th floor.

They said I can't use their public restroom. Terrible.
