Maui Ocean View Rentals – Kihei Akahi

Truly a great stay! James was always a step ahead of what we needed without even knowing we needed it. Everything was nicely labeled and if you've ever showed up to an airbnb and thought "oh no they don't have ____" this won't be the case here. There was everything you needed to enjoy the island all provided by James. Wish James had locations all over the world because I would definitely book those locations! Will definitely recommend to anyone!

Amazing! Quick walk to the beach and the unit has EVERYTHING you might need. Plus it’s a beautifully decorated place to stay. Host was super flexible and kind! Would definitely book again when I’m in town!

We spent 10 days here and loved every minute of it! It is the perfect location, right in the middle of anywhere you want to go on the island and everything you need is within walking distance. The unit itself is clean and comfortable and is stocked with everything and has an amazing ocean view! We will definitely stay there again when we return. Our favorite beach is right across the street!

Our stay at the Epic Ocean views was truly epic!! We enjoyed 2 weeks here and it was just perfect! The location of this unit is close to many great restaurants, shops and of course the beach. The views from the lanai are truly stunning and we loved watching the sunsets 😍 The condo was fully stocked for our needs and was so handy having the beach chairs, snorkel gear and boogie boards! The bed was very comfortable, great big TV as well and we loved the bright open kitchen! We can’t wait to return to this beautiful place! Thanks for making our vacation unforgettable!

We have determined Kihei Akahi is the place to stay on Maui. Beaches right across from the complex and great food 5 minutes down the road. We booked with James through AirBnB and our stay was perfect. Didn’t spend much time in the condo but it worked well for sleeping and showering. Highly recommended

This was our first trip to Maui and this condo checked all the boxes! Beautiful property with all the amenities. The unit was recently remodeled and had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the location, the beach was across the street with restaurants and shopping close by. We’ll be back!

Great location and great condo

We stayed here for our first trip to Maui in late May 2025 and this condo blew our expectations out of the water. The unit is exactly as it appears in photos, super clean, all new appliances, fantastic AC units in bedroom & living room, walkable location to Kam Beach II & shops, and has an amazing view of the ocean. The owner, James, was quick to answer questions and very polite. The complex is away from the main road which made it peaceful at night. Cannot sat enough good things and looking forward to staying here again!

This just may be the absolute best spot in all of Maui to stay. James is an AMAZING host and extremely prompt with any communications. The condo itself is perfectly situated for the most breathtaking sunset views EVERY evening. There's everything you need for a very comfortable stay. We're staying the whole month of March and have already booked for next March! Kihei, in my opinion, is the best location on the island to stay. A very short 5 minute walk to 3 beautiful beaches. The maintenance crew does an unbelievable job of keeping the grounds in immaculate condition. They thoroughly clean the 2 pools every single day and they clean the 2 community grills every day better than I clean my own grill at home annually!! I would usually never cook on a community grill but I've been using these super nice grills regularly. There's all kinds of really good restaurants and shops within walking distance - more than we may have a chance to get to in the month we're here. This has been the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation and we already can't wait to come back next year(and we haven't even left yet this year!). If you're looking to stay in Maui, don't hesitate to book this place!

Our stay in Kihei was wonderful! The apartment itself was clean, updated, and very well decorated. The view was lovely, with a nice little patio. It was centrally located to great food and for trekking out to other parts of the island. Would highly recommend.

This is the best Kihei Akahi condo we have stayed in over many years. It has been beautifully updated, well equipped, has a very comfortable King bed and is very, very clean. It has a great ocean view as well. The owner was very attentive in checking on our stay. All in all, 5 star for us.
