Best Hotel EVER! SAuper friendly staff! Rooms are SPOTLESS! The lakeview is INCREDIBLE! The onsite food optins are truly FANTASTIC! ⭐⭐⭐ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ⭐⭐⭐

This is my third time staying here and it is the only place in La Porte that we will stay when we come up here. The staff is amazing and very friendly and goes above and beyond the atmosphere when you walk into the lobby is very homie and very nostalgic. Some of the rooms have been updated. I don’t know about the one that we were in last time because this time we have a different room, but it has hardwood floors in it and a balcony view of the lake with a nice spa tub in it, which works amazing, and let’s not forget of course a fireplace. Which is needed here in La Porte on those cold fall and winter nights. Plus the fireplace gives it that romantic getaway weekend filling. And if you need to eat, you have T-bone Peer 11, which has some amazing food and then you also have the boardwalk where you can just hang out with friends and enjoy the atmosphere. Let’s not forget the amazing sunsets over the lake. They are absolutely breathtaking and gorgeous. The nice thing about the blue Heron Inn is that it is family owned and operated so you don’t have to worry about the corporate fill. And plus I they have a heated pool. (Which we just found out about). Also, if you wanna go enjoy the lake, you can rent a pontoon boat. Plus, they have complementary breakfast, which is awesome. It’s not that boring crap that you usually get at the chain hotels. Overall, we absolutely love this place.

Very nice. The rooms are spacious and the lakeview rooms are what they say they are. The backdoor of our room was about 15 feet from the waters edge.
