The D Casino & Hotel

My husband and I made a reservation at The D Casino & Hotel. I went 10 years ago with my sister-in-law and was surprised at how much the hotel has changed. We were given a suite, and it was luxurious. The young man who checked us in was very attentive and helpful. They now offer a complimentary glass of beer to guests upon check-in. Just one tip for your check-out: if you plan to leave early, before 11:00 AM, make sure you don't leave your room key card at the front desk or the checkout counter. It's best to keep it with you until you leave the parking lot, otherwise you won't be able to leave without a parking ticket or key card until 11:00 AM. A staff member is responsible for opening the bar at 11:00 AM, and we recently had a similar problem when someone didn't have their ticket or key card to scan. A hotel employee came to open the bar so we could leave, and he also collected the room keys.

So this was my first time staying at the d las vegas and after reading a few reviews I was unsure but let me tell you from the moment I walked in felt the ac blowing ice cold 🧊 and was treated very well during check in and offered a cold beer I loved that 🫡 my room was very clean had a fridge ,sofa and two comfy chairs and a great view room had a 🧊 cold a/c the vibe all around the d was great everyone having fun and drinks were amazing 👏 ty guys for a great father's day weekend and we loved the fireworks 🎆 see you guys soon 🎲🎲🍺

Very noisy even if your room is on a very high floor! Felt unsafe in hotel halls

This was the first time we stayed off strip and it wasn't a bad hotel at all. A little smaller but really good service, a great steakhouse and a fun place to stay right on Fremont. Don't go for their pool.

My wife and I had not been to the downtown area in years. We want to stay in the area to see the changes from yesteryear to today. My wife booked a one night stay for the "D" hotel. We checked in and to our dismay there weren't any luggage carts to bring our clothes and cooler bags up to the 10 floor. We had to make a couple of trips to do that deed. Entering the room it felt like a meat locker. The thermostat was set at 65 degrees . I understand it's 107 degrees outside but it was like going to an oven to a freezer. Not a big deal but the big deal to me was how loud the AC was. Even raising the thermostat to a comfortable temperature did not help with the noise of the AC. That was a detriment for me to sleep. I didn't sleep well at all. The refrigerator was very tiny . Couldn't fit much in it. The only positive for the room was the shower. Very nice with good water pressure. This experience was a one and done deal for this hotel and touring the downtown area.

Everyone here was amazing, and super kind valet was amazing.And kind and quick checking process was nice.And smooth answered all of our questions. The inside store was super nice. It wasn't cheap, but everybody there was very polite. Very close to things on fremont street, just overall, an amazing experience

First arriving by car, I wasn't allowed to use the baggage cart to unload my bags from my car (concierge basically accused me of stealing the cart), so I self parked my car rather than using valet. This put the start of the trip off on a bad foot. Checking in and getting a free beer was nice (and would have been awesome had i not just made 2 trips to my car after self parking because the hotel concierge wouldn't let me use a cart). Then the room had a bad outlet and usb's, but they won't fix them becaise they plan on remodeling? There is no microwave anywhere on the property they can heat something for you. There is no complementary coffee, but you can buy it for $5 a small cup or $35 for half a pot. The rooms are nice, the bed is comfortable. So some really good things, some really bad ones. Sorry, but as awesome an ideal as a beer upon arrival is (and this is a great ideal!) and even if it wasnt the outlet, coffee, and that the safe is broken, the treating me like a thief for trying to use the baggage cart within my first 5 mins of arrival just really ruined it all for me. They let others use it, why not me? Guess I look like a thief needing a baggage cart
