Drama Inn, Cherokee NC

We always stay here when we are in Cherokee. It's comfortable, right on the river and within walking distance of almost everything we love to do here. The owner is nice and the hotel is pet friendly.

Yall have yo remember your coming to the mountains its not busy all the time this hotel was amazing to stay at had an amazing view room was clean staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area i just had a hard time getting ahold of the office they need to update their website and put the office hours on the website as well but very much enjoyed our stay here and will be staying here again

Nice room and location.

Walked into the office and it immediately smelled like dog pee. The lady was nice but greasy unwashed hair and a little yippie dog came running up barking, another staff member was complaing about the amount of laundry (bedding) that had to be done..I was worried the dog would get out of the office and run off. The room had an overwhelming odor of dog pee too. We had to leave the balcony door open the whole time. Our room was close to what was obviously the staff quarters… I’m not sure if they’re aware of how to clean up after pets at all, and that’s a problem in a pet friendly hotel (enzyme cleaners) … as someone who owns 3 dogs.. take them outside to potty and give them baths..? Duh..? There was also a pair of swim trunks under the bed my husband found while making sure we had everything. It’s December…. No one has been in that pool since at least September. Which begs the question, how has the floor not been swept and mopped since the pool was open? Under the bed wasn’t even open all the way. There was only a foot or so of room before a box spring was there. We paid $140 for a hotel that was 1 🌟 in every way but the view. Trust me and just stay somewhere else for $140 a night and skip the view. Go on a wonderful walk and spend time at the casino instead of your room and you’ll never know you didn’t stay right on the river.

Was very happy they had a vacant pet room on short notice on a Saturday night in Oct, the lady in the office was very nice. The rooms are dated but we're clean, had a small coffee pot which was a plus for me. Thank you.

The room was on the river at the end with overlooking river jetted bath tub and King-size bed was there for the parade last week and really enjoyed everything had a great view to see parade and nice clean room very comfortable.Will definitely stay again.
