Bad service i don't like the smell

Avoid this place at all costs! It's shameful to rent rooms in this condition. It's dilapidated, like a prison. There are no windows, it's dark, it smells musty, it overlooks a road, the parking is expensive, and roosters crow incessantly. We only stayed for an hour, just long enough to eat and ask for a refund because it was unthinkable to stay there. And on top of that, the price is exorbitant! Don't be fooled like we were, because there are no other places to stay and we were forced to book a last-minute Airbnb, which was obviously out of our budget. We are furious with this establishment.

This place is truly something special and a hidden gem! If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy trap type resorts and a real authentic jungle Hawaiian feel, this is the place to go. Totally secluded, incredible rooms and views. Above all, the staff is great and really goes above and beyond to make sure your visit is enjoyable and a lifelong memory. Couldn't recommend more!

We had an excellent time at Paradise Bay! This resort has lots to offer, but not in the typical sense. The location is disconnected from amenities, but Kaneohe is just a 5-10 min drive up the road. We really enjoyed that this is off the beaten path, far from what you'd expect if you were in Honolulu or similar. We've stayed in Hawaii more than a few times, and Paradise Bay has won us over for its tranquility, and overall "local Hawaiian vibe" that's impossible to feel in the cities. You'll feel like you're living in the jungle here - exactly what we loved about it! The rooms could use a refresh. Our room had a laughable paint job, where there were huge sections on the ceiling that were completely missed. Not a big deal, but you'll definitely notice it! In addition, we had conflicting service from the front ladies. Paradise Bay provided French Roast coffee during our stay. We much prefer non-flavored coffee, but didn't see any generic Joe here. There was a Nescafe machine in our room. Nice! We asked for a couple more pods since we had already gone through what was in our room. We requested two pods one day, then a couple days later requested two more. We spoke with a different lady each time, and the last lady informed us it would be $2.00 +tax per pod. As a business owner myself, these little charges can really put a damper on the whole customer experience, where you feel a bit less "taken care of." Unless we're asking for 10 pods every day, blatantly taking advantage, you may want to reconsider charging. Especially reconsider your markup of $2.00 /pod. Of course, you're well within your right to charge for these, but maybe consider how it comes across to your customers. No matter, we still had a fantastic time, but make sure to bring your own pods... Haha.

Not as Advertised! Rooms are run down, water coming up from under the floor. Neighbor had black mold. Both had to move to other run down rooms. Not a real kitchen suite. Convection burners with no utensils or knives to cut our food. Small rooms. Stools for table broken and loose. Tiny TV. AC in livingroom only so plan on sleeping in your sweat. Bottom line....spend your money elsewhere and avoid this place like covid. Update for new room and added info. No hood or fan for cooking so room fills with smoke. Do not use your AC and convection oven at the same time or your power will go out. This place is one gut punch after another, wish we had seen an honest review ahead of time to save frustrations and money. Not recommended! New room has mold too.
