Love this place

Very nice restaurant and atmosphere. Waiter was kind and professional.

Can't say enough about this place. Had a great experience all around. I'll start with the best part. The food and staff were amazining. I broke a glass and the manager came right over and made sure my wife was not hurt and helped us clean up. It was embarrassing enough but he was very professional and sincere with the whole situation. Our waitress was knowable and helped us choose some delicious food. The food was exceptionally delicious. The pork was so good, the sauce was out for this world. Thank you again!

Food Quality & Taste- 3/5 The food was fine. While the frittata was average for me, the waffle was really good! I liked the cornbread feel of the waffle. Service- 5/5 Service was excellent! I received a warm greeting from the hostesses and was quickly seated. My server was also very quick to take my order, kept my water glass full, removed used plates from the table quickly, and was quite responsive to all requests. Really impressed with the service! Atmosphere- 4/5 It’s beautiful inside. There’s bar seating, outside seating, and a variety of spaces inside to sit. It is also quite “cozy.” The pillows, dim lighting, and low floor lamps made for a really nice brunch. I’d go back just for the atmosphere. Value- 4/5 Great value! Nothing too expensive, and there are a variety of options at different price points. The service and atmosphere really make this a great option. Opportunities for Learning- 5/5 There are many learning opportunities! There are different seasonal options/ menus, many different dishes that would teach you something (ex., the Italian frittata vs. the French quiche), and some cool ingredients that would make you Google.

Dinner outside at Talula’s Garden in the late summer is something truly magical. Their little garden courtyard tucked in across from Washington Square provides the most enchanting atmosphere for sipping a cocktail and enjoying several items from their seasonal farm-to-table menu. It was hard to narrow down our choices but we started with the Colorful Beet, Fresh Orange & Whipped Ricotta Salad and Hot Artichoke & Spinach Cast Iron Dip. The portion sizes were generous so we decided to split the Seared Sea Scallops & Fresh Gulf Shrimp with Risotto. The waiter was attentive and paced the meal perfectly. Not only was every dish plated beautifully, but each bite was flavorful and well-balanced. For the quality of food, atmosphere, and service, Talula’s is reasonably priced. Highly recommend visiting this place on a late summer night so you can enjoy your meal in their whimsical, candlelit garden.

Really nice restaurant with a warm atmosphere. Our server was friendly and helpful, and every dish we tried was packed with flavor.

• The patio is beautiful and romantic, with just the right amount of flair-perfect for celebrating something special. We came to celebrate our 10yr wedding anniversary. • We started with the cheddar biscuits, which were out of this world. • My husband's steak was incredibly moist and tender, and ! had what might be the best pork chop ever! • If you're looking for a romantic anniversary spot or a memorable date night, this is it. • We're already planning to come back the next time we're in town.

Had the fish there and it did not disappoint

I met my cousin and his husband for brunch at Talula’s Garden and everything was spectacular: the service was attentive, the vibe was well caffeinated but not hyper, and the food was outstanding. I got the fresh mushroom omelette with the crispy potatoes and a side order of cheesy grits and everything was cooked to perfection and so tasty. The coffee was in a French press - not to be bougey or anything but it is a nice treat to get that when dining out. The cocktails were quite good as well - I had their spin on a Negroni and was not disappointed! His mom told me this was her favorite place and now I know why - everything was so good. We will definitely come back when we visit Philly again.
