I went to camp session two it was fine but kinda boring and not for me I wanted to go home and they said they were working on it every time I asked this one girl she was very obviously annoyed eventually they said they called my parents and were waiting for answer I waited a whole day with the same answer when my parents have no job and are ALWAYS on their phone they answer at least 20 minutes later not a whole night so I suspected she didn't even call and she would also refuse to call again saying she already called once and wouldn't let me talk to them myself every time I asked if they answered she was annoyed and started to seem aggressive until dinner time next day did they finally say I could go home the moment I got my phone and was away from her I called my parents (they answered right away) I asked if she truly called yesterday and they said the camp only called them day of me getting picked up not the day before

no clothes or beds for ppl in need. not that it should be based on how much or little you need but i rly only needed one pair of pants and a shirt and asked if they had beds or laundry. these places r supposed to confront trans homelessness headon. and guess what happened after i was turned away. attempted kidnapping by some rich psychos down the street. would have taken me away in their gigantic SUV and i woulda be dead that night if i didnt drive away. there seemed to be pretty nice people inside one ten but front staff was pretty clear they don’t rly do emergency homeless help. where’s my head been? i thought this was what they were here for

I have been going to One N Ten since 2020. In 2023 i used their pond program to get out of homelessness and it was pretty nice. You get paired with Hom inc and you pick your own apartment and during that time, everyone was very helpful. I have met some amazing people and gotten to do some really fun things with them. I recently got back to the state and I'm homeless once more. I went in to try and shower and possibly eat but because i have a cat with me, i was told i couldn't be there. Now, i understand pet rules and was willing to just walk out with that after a small complaint and question about how a cat sleeping in a bag was "unsafe" like they claimed. However, they suggested i leave my black kitten in the car or outside in order to get help instead of redirecting me to other resources like they claim to be able to. This place is centered in Phoenix. It was 100 degrees outside and 120 in my car. I do not appreciate being told to basically KILL MY CAT to get help from them. The staff were very pushy about getting me to leave him outside or in the car. No understanding that this cat is family. They treated him more like an object than anything.
