Las Palomas

This is such a great place. You get the real Sante Fe feel. Great breakfast, short walk to the Plaza and railroad.

Hospitality at its finest, a lost art in most lodging options, is tuned like a fine instrument at Las Palomas. Every request is accommodated to the best of their possibilites. Thank you for another awesome visit!! DJ and Kenny

Fantastic stay at Las Palomas. 10 out of 10 would recommend. 10/10 friendly and helpful staff - you can tell they really care about your stay and want you to have a great time 10/10 studio accommodation, single level, perfect for two people plus our dog. Very cute, simple layout, exactly what we needed. 10/10 location easy 7-10 min walk to the plaza, museums, restaurants and shopping. We were able to walk downtown and back multiple times per day which was great for regrouping, outfit changes and to relax for a bit. 10/10 breakfast is included and it’s perfect, they do 5 different options really well: breakfast burrito or tacos, pancakes, standard eggs and bacon, or healthy egg white scramble. Great way to start the day and excellent value included in the price of the stay. Thoughts: The people who left 1 and 2 star reviews are either snobs or have unrealistic property standards for a high volume high occupancy historic building offered at a great price or they didn’t ask for help from the friendly staff to resolve their issue.

We stayed overnight on our way to Pagosa. John at front desk found us a room and the accept dogs without a "shake down". They even have treat bags for them at check in. We came in at 9pm, and he also was able to still offer us croissant & salad, AND pie. Breakfast is included and good choices. All staff had great customer service, which is rare these days. Rooms and casitas are spread over several areas and across street, making a compound of traditonal, Adobe lodging .

Amazing experience. The hotel is a collection of abode style units. Well furnished, clean. We got a 2 room suite. Great water pressure and hot water for the shower. Good service - there was always staff on hand to promptly help with requests. Breakfast was delightful - I got the healthy choice and my spouse got the bfast tacos both made to order. Good OJ and lattes. The plaza is a 10min walk away. We went to The Shed for dinner and were lucky to get a spot on the bar counter where you can get a full meal. Santa Fe is a delightful town to visit and this hotel puts you in a good location.

Las Palomas is a wonderfully cute hotel. Our room and our friends rooms had a full kitchens. We are walking distance to old town Santa Fe, the oldest church in America and several museums and galleries.

Santa Fe has grown a lot, perhaps too much. This boutique hotel retains the quiet and authentic character of Santa Fe. It’s with in a 10 minute walk of the plaza and a bewildering array of shops and restaurants.

No heat overnight, despite fireplace, baseboard and minisplit in room. From other reviews seems to be common issue. Caught handyman in morning he relit fireplace pilot, stated baseboard was non functional and after a couple trips reset breaker for acual heater. We checked after 2 days. Room really not like photos, not particularly clean in corners. Disrepair and poor maintenence psssed off as charming. Front desk refused to give us paperwork of any kind despite having charged to our card. Booking.com listed Las Palomas number for reservation changes, but call to that number. Were met with not our problem. How do i know your heat didnt work, it works now, why didmt you call the emergency number. We dont give out paperwork. Breakfast was good the one we had.

This is a charming place to stay in Santa Fe. We were in the Superior suite (#1), which I highly recommend. It has an eat-in kitchen with a 2-burner hot plate, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, and full-size refrigerator. The living room is spacious with a large leather couch and leather chair, TV, fireplace (which we did not use), and split HVAC unit, which was easily adjustable. The bedroom was a nice size, with plenty of drawer space, hangers, a very comfortable king-size bed, TV, and a separate split HVAC unit. The bathroom had a tub/shower with plenty of hot water. The entire unit was very clean and quiet. We were traveling with friends who opted for a smaller unit, which was more typical of a traditional hotel room. We felt the additional money was well worth it. As mentioned in other reviews, the main area has plenty of seating for breakfast or just lounging. Breakfast offered 5 hot options, which were cooked to order. There is also orange juice, fruit, croissants, bagels, and other pastries available during breakfast hours. Ice cream, snacks, a variety of coffee/tea, soda, and other beverages are available for purchase throughout the day and evening. There are a variety of board games for guests to avail themselves of. The common area is very welcoming, as are all staff members we encountered (special kudos to Eddie at the front desk, who is always cheerful and willing to offer information when requested). In summary, this is a wonderful and convenient place to stay when visiting Santa Fe.

Great stay! Easy in and out. Great breakfast. We didn’t get to try night time snacks. Room was basically a tiny apartment. Couch, kitchen, room, bathroom. Very walkable to the downtown area.

Our 2nd visit and this hotel always makes me happy! From the classic southwest style, Large rooms and epic breakfast. We love visiting! Don't forget to enjoy the tree growing in the lobby restaurant :).

The hotel was cute and customer service was great. Also I loved how there was a homemade breakfast cooked every morning and it was really good.

First, the good things - breakfast is fantastic, beds are comfy, and the location is excellent. Now the not so good, and why I give this place a “3”. The rooms are tired and in bad need of updating. Would I stay here again? Maybe, because otherwise the place is pretty cool. But the management seems to be just stringing along this property with just the bare minimum maintenance.
