Talking Stick Resort is a large mainstream casino resort on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, just east of Scottsdale. It is listed as gay-friendly but has no LGBTQ+ focus. The resort combines a hotel tower with a big casino floor, pools, a spa, restaurants and a show venue, and draws a busy convention and weekend crowd. Old Town Scottsdale is about 15 minutes by car, and Phoenix's gay bars, mostly along Seventh Avenue and Camelback, are about 30 minutes away. With over 26,000 reviews at 4.3 it is very well known. Expect a casino environment, including smoking areas.

I would not stay at this place again. We had a lot of trouble with our room. If you stay there be aware management is not looking out for the best interest of their guests. I wish you all the best but my family and I will not stay at this place again. God Bless

i will pick any other casino in arizona over this place. if i have to explain why then management must not understand how their employees act here. absolutely ridiculous;

Don't wear prescription smart glasses and plan on playing here. After playing craps for 20 minutes I was told to take them off. Despite showing the pit boss there we set to off, and they were prescription, I had to take them off. When I was told they wouldn't return my chips in play until they won or lost, I had to wait without being able to see what was happening. It was not only disappointing, but uncomfortable as well. I've probably been to 15-20 casinos with these glasses and have only been asked about them once before, at the Westgate in Vegas. When I showed them they were off, they let me play for hours.
