Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls Downtown

I traveled to Sioux Falls for the weekend with my mom. We stayed at the Canopy by Hilton and had an amazing experience. It started with being greeted with a friendly smile from Alexis. She was welcoming and offered a great first experience at the hotel. We grabbed snacks at Torrent Coffee Bar inside the hotel where we had exceptional service from both Kallista and Leah. Several mornings we ate breakfast at Cascata Italian restaurant located in the hotel and Ryan was a phenomenal server. We had dessert at the bar and spoke with Sara who was a local resident. She provided fantastic service and tips for us. Managers Corey, Hristiyana and Anthony were extremely polite, friendly and helped us tremendously with any problems, concerns or questions needed. Overall I would recommend this hotel because of the location and the wonderful staff.

I am not one to complain and am typically a very reasonable person. That being said, my recent stay at Canopy Hilton at Falls Park was extremely disappointing. -Rank smell from the meat packing plant close by. -Multiple gunshots fired in falls park while I was sitting on my balcony. -Someone pounding,kicking,rattling handle and slamming on my door at 10PM (called front desk and pressed emergency button, noone came to assist or investigate). -Requested bedding for pullout couch and extra towels (called twice, went down to front desk once before bedding was finally delivered. Towels were never delivered). -Mold in Nespresso coffee maker -Unfinished trim around window and door. -Locked in stairwell and locked out of gym d/t digital key not working. -Balcony offered full construction view which promptly started at 8AM. -Dirty tile around shower frame by door hinge

Lovely room with a balcony 👏🏻 I would have laid out the bathroom differently, though, because the shower and toilet are together and the sinks are separated by a wall 😅 perfect location !

Right on the falls and walking distance from a playground and splash pad for kids. Many restaurants nearby also. Modern design and absolutely spotless. Strongly recommend staying here

A wonderful hotel experience! We travel A LOT. Most hotels are fine, but a few are exceptional…and the Canopy in Sioux Falls is one of those. The hotel is well located in the historic district between a park and the river walk, and across the street from a fun gathering place with occasional live music on the patio. Parking is secure and convenient in an attached garage. The rooms are well designed and attractively decorated with ample closet space, a spacious shower, and a comfortable seating area. Balcony is large and we used it often. Refrigerator in room was handy, but nicely not a focal point. TVs large, new and work perfectly. The fitness center is excellent - love the Peloton bikes! Importantly, staff is amazing - always friendly, professional and efficient. We can’t say enough good things about the lovely folks at reception and the bar manager!
