Diversity Alliance of the Puget Sound

The Gender Alliance of the South Sound (GASS) is a long-running peer support and social group for transgender, gender-diverse and crossdressing people. It is based in Tacoma and draws members from Pierce, Thurston, Kitsap and King counties. Its main activities are regular support meetings, social get-togethers and sharing practical resources such as name-change help, medical referrals and safe local businesses. It has no permanent public venue in this listing. Meeting times and locations are shared through the group's own channels, so contact it before turning up. Washington State has strong legal protections for trans people.
