Homewood Suites by Hilton Wilmington-Brandywine Valley

I was in the area to visit Longwood Gardens. The Hotel is a short drive to Longwood Gardens. The room was very nice, clean, and spacious. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The hotel amenities, fitness room, business center, breaktast area were more than serviceable. The breaktast was average, I appreciated that they had hot coffee and ice water always available. I would stay there again.

I don't know what the regular rooms look like because I booked a 2 room suite and it was very nice.

My wife and I had an extended stay here and had a very good experience. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Vanessa at the front desk was very helpful. Definitely recommend staying here

I expected a cleaner room after paying $250 a night. Furniture in the room is old and couch is dirty . Toilet bowl has scratches in it. Elevator floor and carpet in the elevator area are also dirty. Not sure if I will ever book this hotel again.

Stayed for just a weekend in Feb 26. The room was clean and odor free. It was a king room but we did use the pull out bed for a kid which worked fine. The kitchen area was convenient. Coffee and Tea is available 24/7 off the lobby and the breakfast was adequate with good hours. Only one elevator works so if its a busy time you will have to wait. The images online of the gym show a cable stack machine in the back, This is not the case. Just dumbbells and cardio machines in a very tiny room. I drove to a local gym and got a one day pass. Might not be important to a lot of people. Checkout was easy and there is plenty of parking near all the entrances to the hotel.

I stay here often for business. It feels like a home away from home. Everyone treats you like family. My suite is always fresh and clean and after a long day of work I like too just relax in the living room before bed. There are also many dining options around if you do not feel like cooking yourself in the room. Breakfast is always delicious.
