My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The rooms were not properly cleaned, and during the stay almost nothing was changed or refreshed, including towels and other basic items. Overall, the level of cleanliness and care was far below what you would expect from a hotel. The service was also very poor. The staff were often rude and unhelpful, which made the experience even more unpleasant. The food was terrible, both in quality and taste. Even worse, several people in our group ended up with stomach problems after eating there, with symptoms of an intestinal virus. Overall, it was a very negative experience and unfortunately I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
NOT RECOMMENDED. Old outdated hotel with horrible rooms and service. The AC in the room works only as a fan and they look to your face and claim that it works as intended. In my opinion, should be rated as only 1 ⭐ hotel and charge for their rooms accordingly. We have been traveling through different countries in Europe for the past 10 years and this is the worst hotel ever.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great stay in the heart of Prague! Our experience at EA Hotel Downtown was absolutely excellent. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet – exactly what you need after a day of exploring the city. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which made the whole stay even more pleasant. Breakfasts were a big highlight – a rich selection, fresh ingredients, and everything nicely refilled and well presented. Whether you’re into sweet, savory, or just a light start with coffee and fruit, there’s something for everyone. The location is perfect – just a few minutes’ walk from Wenceslas Square, yet in a quieter area. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Prague!
Good location subway-wise. Unfortunately the AC is pretty weak and if you crack a window the street is insanely loud (people racing cars at 1-3 am). The front desk was generally understanding and provided a fan, but they really should have an ac system that can do better than keeping it ~2° C cooler than outdoors cause sleeping at 26° C is difficult.
Room is small, but reflective of the price so it's okay. Maybw the bathroom can be more clean (small molds seen in shower area). Air conditioning not working well, so a bit hot during summer.
