A complete rip-off. The rooms are very old. The bathtub was 30 years old; I woke up to a dead cockroach in my bed. The air conditioning was very weak and outdated. The breakfast was not worthy of a 5-star hotel; I've had better in 3-star establishments.
The hotel is beautiful but the service leaves much to be desired.
Disaster
Old and poorly maintained hotel. Suite was old, with zero amenities, broken shower and dead roaches on the carpet. I would avoid this hotel.
A hotel like no other A weekend in the Château des Deys Extremely kind, professional and friendly staff: from reception, concierge, cleaning staff, swimming pool, to the typically Algiers bar.
