CityBlue Creekside Hotel & Suites, Mombasa

CityBlue Creekside Hotel & Suites sits on Tudor Creek just off the New Nyali Bridge, at the edge of Mombasa island, and is run by the CityBlue Hotels group. It's a business-style hotel with rooms and suites rather than a beach resort, and Google rates it 4.2 from about 2,600 reviews. The location works if you want to split your time between the Old Town and the north-coast beaches without long transfers. Kenya criminalises sex between men, so keep affection out of public areas.
