Trough X

Trough X is a men-only cruise and fetish club at 273 Crown Street, a few minutes' walk south of Oxford Street. The space has changed names a few times. It was Headquarters, then Trade, and Star Observer reported new owners taking it over as Trough in February 2024. Older guides and maps still use the earlier names. The format changes through the week. Weeknights it's a bar with a cruise area. Saturday is a dance-and-cruise night, and Sunday is a men-only session. Some nights are ticketed through Humanitix, and the line-up shifts, so check trough.events or their socials for the current week before heading over. It's the only venue of its kind in Surry Hills. Sydney's gay saunas are a short walk north in Darlinghurst.
