I used it for a break! It was very comfortable and great!!
There was one broken faucet, but otherwise I was satisfied. The facilities were clean.
There's another Otokojuku Hotel in Kobe. It's great that you can get in without waiting, even on Saturdays. It costs 15,000 yen per night. Is that about average for this area? Compared to when it first opened, you can definitely feel its age, and there's a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke. Compared to hotels along highways, the room size is inevitably smaller, and proportionally, the TV is smaller and the bathrooms show their age, but the location is good, so it's a good option if you want to keep costs down.
