Capsule Hotel Daitoyo

The front desk was terrible. They completely ignored their own shortcomings and didn't even apologize. Despite my repeated inquiries about something I'd forgotten, they insisted it wasn't there, even though they hadn't checked properly. When I went to check myself, it was there, and they were still sulky about it. Furthermore, when I went to the front desk and left, they told me to leave my key with them, even though they hadn't even offered to hold it for me in the first place. At the restaurant on B2, even though it clearly stated that orders could be placed verbally, they insisted I order using my cell phone. When I pointed out that it was written there, they gave me a disgusted look. It seems they can't help but make you feel uncomfortable at every turn. The level of discomfort was immense. I'm never using this hotel again, so it's fine.

It's about a 10-minute walk from Osaka Station. Besides the sauna, I think the food is delicious too. Since it's a capsule hotel, earplugs are a must if you're sensitive to noise.

Why didn't I go sooner? I'd seen the sign, but I didn't have the courage to go until now, and it was a great find! The high-temperature sauna was fantastic. The beer after the bath was the best!

There's a single-person cold plunge pool. There are also two self-service löyly areas, making it a sauna with high potential for older men!

It's cheaper than other capsule hotels, and it has a bath and sauna. There's also a restaurant, so I think it's a great value. I would definitely use it again.

This is the well-known capsule sauna spa in Umeda. It was recently renovated, so it seems to be very clean. There was almost no guidance at the entrance, which was a bit worrying for a first-timer, but it's part of the charm. You change on the 3rd floor and mainly go back and forth between the large public bath and relaxation area on the 4th and 5th floors. While the amenities are limited, the entire facility and the capsules are incredibly clean, making it very comfortable for a relaxing stay. The main sauna has an automatic löyly system, and they also hold regular Aufguss sessions. There are also two other types of saunas, making it quite well-equipped. The open-air bath has few chairs, but it's a semi-open-air space overlooking the Umeda entertainment district, where you can soak in the lukewarm water with a chair, enjoying the pleasant breeze. Late-night ramen is available for overnight guests only, and the manga area is spacious. Overall, it was a relaxing and pleasant bath and accommodation. Highly recommended.
