Stayed in literally 100s of hotels all-around the world.. Im 100% against establishments that enter your card details into their system. Credit card fraud is rife for me in countries when this is done. Lets see if it happens here. More than happy to pay a bond, but this does not need to have card details put in computer as it was here. Suggest giving an expired card, but i didnt have one on this occasion in my wallet. I also noticed when tapped at check in the receptionist flipped the card so the 3 digit number on back was visible. Very obvious sign. Time will tell. Otherwise, room clean . Feel like im in Deria, in DXB a we bit. Similar decor.
Beautiful hotel and rooms and great service. The cocktails made by Chocho were fantastic, a must try especially the espresso martini and the Whiskey sour! We will be back!
Overall a very pleasant stay here. Nice, very central location and close to everything which is great. Limited parking within, although at a cost of $15 per night extra, my recommendation is to simply park in the street parks directly outside for free. They are P120 mins, however parking after about 4 or 5 ensures it's free overnight. Clear by 10am latest to avoid fees. Service was excellent. Reception was very attentive and friendly and comms in general were good. The only gripe is that it's not manned 24 hours. They knock off at 10:30. Adjoining is a restaurant which does a wonderful buffet breakfast where you can also have cooked if you want. Pak n Save across the road and other restaurants for dinner near enough. There is a laundry and gym on site which was very handy. As far as the rooms themselves go, very clean and tidy. Good Internet and TV with regular channels. Bed comfy enough. Stopping this from getting more than 3 stars: - Only some cutlery included. I found it bizarre that one had to contact reception for plates, bowels, other cutlery other than a couple of tea spoons and a few cups and glasses, especially given the vast amount of cupboard space available in the rooms! That seemed a bit backwards. The jug was broken with the top continuously opening while boiling which I found annoying. On a positive - nice Nespresso stuff included. Always nice to have one of those coffees - No mini bar. I take it for granted that if a place calls itself 5 star, they have this. There were snacks downstairs one could grab if they wanted to bring to their rooms but it's not the same - The price. For $215 per night I might have expected a bit more than this Would I stay here again based on above factors? Yes, but it wouldn't be my first choice
As soon as you walk in you are greeted by friendly staff. Jessica was attentive and really helpful. We ordered pizza from the bar and were served by Cho Cho. Again super friendly, professional and a real asset for Swiss-Bel.
I was looking forward to a great hotel restaurant but it wasn’t open This was disappointing Luckily the Clive square pub was nearby I would recommend that to all The concierge was abrupt and demanded to see id He could do better The rooms are fine and well presented The two bedroom unit works well and the coffee pod machine is great It’s quiet and easy to sleep Heaps of free parking Good location The price we paid was a 25% discount special rate but was still at the high end Would I stay there again? Probably not
