Great place for families to stay with lots of activities in or very near to the park

We showed up on the day to book a spot in Tahuna Beach Holiday Park and the girl on the desk couldn’t have been more friendly. She sorted us with a nice camping spot in the Teal zone. The facilities were nice and clean and modern. There is a lovely boardwalk with gated access right beside the camping zone we were in. Really nice views for sunset from the camp ground. The only thing was when we went to do our laundry in block 5 we had already filled 2 washing machines with washing powder and they both didn’t work when we tried to pay. We just moved machines and took out what we could from the washing powder of the other one. Would definitely recommend this campsite if you’re staying in Nelson, we enjoyed it so much we ended up staying another night and the woman at the desk the next day was very accommodating.

Rocked up with no booking and the ladies at reception were absolutely lovely to deal with, had us sorted in minutes with a great spot for the night.

Very nice setting and facilities. An excellent modern camping park.

Amazing service, affordable and close walk to some great bars and eateries

This place was fine I guess. We got there late and they said they were going to text us our spot number, but they never texted us. The garbages were overflowing. And airplanes flew over the campsite starting early in the morning. For the price, we weren’t very impressed. Always disappointing to see people doing the corporate minimum.***edited since they responded to say we got a map and instructions on arrival which in fact we did not, there was noone around and we ended up finding somewhere random to park in the dark.

Beautiful place, clean, and with excellent service.

A lovely camp but so noisey with planes.Planes fly over from the airport regularly then from 7.30 till 9.30pm small planes used for flying school fly round and around passing over the cabins every 30 seconds or so.They are flying low and are really noisey.l wont be coming back
