Marco Polo Plaza Cebu

Unsure if I would stay here again. Had to change rooms twice; once because there was mold in the bathroom as well as blood splattered on the wall, and the second because the ongoing renovations had our room smelling strongly of paint, which was a definite health concern. Also due to the ongoing remodel, there is a lot of loud noises throughout the day and evening. The TV’s in 2 of the 3 different rooms we stayed in did not work. Breakfast pastries, juices, and fruits were delicious at the breakfast buffet, however we received on multiple occasions undercooked hardboiled eggs, and the hot food trays that were lit underneath were refrigerator cold, as if there was an attempt to reheat and serve leftovers. This establishment is on a steep hill, on a major street, that was advised by locals to not walk down as it can be very dangerous for foreigners. If you are traveling with children, there is a pool for them to swim and play, but other than that there is nothing for them to do.

We had an amazing stay! The attendant was so kind and attentive — they really made us feel welcome. The breakfast spread was excellent too, with lots of options and everything was fresh and delicious. The whole experience felt so comfortable. Highly recommend!

Marco Polo is one of the best places to live in Cebu. It offers easy access to the city, nearby parks, and a luxurious, peaceful environment. Truly a five-star place to call home. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
